I went here one Wednesday night with my son but without a reservation. Luckily, there we two seats free at the end of the bar. Every spare inch has a cover squeezed in and the result is a vibrant noisy Bodega just like you'd get in a city in Spain. Complete with a zinc bar counter with cold tapas under... More

I love tapas, and whenever we visit Bristol we're sure to come here. Genuinely such fresh and tasty tapas. Great meal to enjoy with friends/family and have an authentic taste of Spain in the South West :)

We visit Bristol quite often, and are always on the lookout for new bars and restaurants to try. Bravas has some remarkable reviews, and happily really lives up to the buzz. The place is authentically cosy, with every inch of floor space used to the full. We booked, which seems like quite a good idea as a lot of walk-ins... More

Bravas is an authentic Spanish restaurant that serves tremendous tapas, great gin and has superb staff! It's definitely best to book- we were able to glide seamlessly through the hordes at the door to our table at the back which was helpfully littered with the tapas menus that had been ordered at the time of booking. Every dish was delicious... More

I've been to Bravas a few times and the food is always phenomenal. All the dishes are exploding with flavour. They are interesting and complex without being too pretentious. The salt cod and blood orange salad is fresh and light, the chorizo is hearty and has a slightly spicy sauce that leaves you scraping the pan with your bread, and... More

We took a chance and turned up on a saturday night at 8pm for dinner. We had a short wait during which we had a great gin and tonic before being lucky enough to get a seat at the window. The entire menu here is fantastic and we chose our favourites, the garlic prawns, the deep fried aubergine, the beef... More

Me and my partner went for a birthday meal at Bravas and came away feeling as if it was the best dining experience we had ever had. The food was incredible, the wine was amazing and at one point we thought the waitress serving us could read our mind, very smiley and helpful overall. My partner and I were left... More

Our second visit, slightly apprehensive that the food wouldn't be as good as last time BUT Leila, John and I thoroughly enjoyed our sweet potato and cheese salad, venison chorizo, but most of all the orgasmic deep fried aubergine with molasses, definitely my choice for a last meal! Zingy atmosphere, reminded me of Barcelona. One of our favourite eating places... More

I'm one of this restaurants biggest fans and absolutely love it....the staff are great and the atmosphere is really "buzzy".....I only wish that the menu would change a bit more. I tried the deep fried shrimp and wasn't impressed (I like most things on the menu)....it didn't work for me at all.....bring back baby squid!!!!....this is a winner!...

The atmosphere here is lovely, so chilled and relaxed and with such friendly staff. The tapas is delicious and definitely reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!!!
