So first of all, this is a very nice place, very well decorated, great "ambience". Apparently, it's great for food, so my girlfriend says. But as far as coffee is concerned, I don't think so. With the name "Cafe Amore" espressos should be a whole lot better. Thin coffee in a tiny cup... Disappointing.

Busy café offering a wide range of small meals at reasonable prices. My cup of tea was what I call a real cup of tea. Staff are well turned out and attentive. Café well maintained and tables kept clean, and I would mention that the ladies toilets are clean.

Really liked the cafe, nice decorations, loved the seating area love the seating upstairs. However, food is not great, worst baked potato I've had in a decade. By crab, they meant shredded crab sticks. Rip off. Staff weren't very friendly. Not enough plug sockets for a cafe

This cafe is tucked away on Nelson Street, Bristol and you may well walk past the frontage! But go inside and you'll find a lot of dark wood, barley-twist banisters up the stairs, quaint little sections with tables and chairs (much like a small train), walls filled with old fashioned enamelled adverts, friendly staff and great coffee/tea/snacks, or full meals... The food here is excellent. They offer a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes with at least a dozen different fillings, cakes and lasagne. The portions are hearty and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they offer a fast and efficient service. They are miles ahead of the chain coffee shops both... Whenever I forget, or don't have lunch I always pop to Cafe Amore. Toasted sandwiches or lasagne is what I usually go for, it's tasty and the service is so so good. The coffee is fab and the cake selection too, I'm all for local business and will always go here before any chain. Go Cafe Amore :)

My favourite favourite place to have a coffee in Bristol! The service is unbelievable and the queue goes down so quickly. Your coffee and cakes etc are brought to your table which I much prefer. I'd also recommend the red velvet cake ❤️ The coffee cups are huge and you get so much for your money! They really go above... More

Old style American atmosphere, nice coffees, appetizing meals... it's one of my favorite places in town, always nice to get a coffee and rest for half an hour, enjoying the caffeine and the special atmosphere.

Been going there for the past 6 years regularly. The pricing is very reasonable on the cakes, coffee, panini and sandwiches. It does get very busy at lunchtime. The owner Guidas as his staff are very welcoming and thoroughly nice people. I recommend this place to anyone.

Popped in with my wife for a late lunch, she has dined here a few tines before. We were greeted by very freinly and efficient staff, We ordered and paid and there was someone waiting to carry our tray to our table. It is a bit dark inside but very cosy. The jacket spuds were one of the best we've... More
