Called in for lunch, had cheese and tomato quiche and chips. The chips were barely warm and the quiche had such a soggy bottom that I couldn't decide if the pastry was raw or not. It contained tomatoes cut into quarters instead of sliced and I had trouble tasting the cheese. Along with a regular coffee and costing nearly £10... More

We went for Lunch in February, although the sopping village was fairly empty, the cafe/restaurant was reasonably full. The cafe is split into two part, and the menu outside only seems to refer to the Cafe/snack bar part the Restaurant which we used was further in. On the day we went the Credit card machine wasn't working so we had... More

Very poor quality food , expensive and not very tasty . Drinks like dish washer . The whole outfit resembles food quality from an old school canteen but with restaurant high end pricing . Bizarre menu layout outside the building - no one really knows what to do when inside very chaotic and poorly structured . Very disappointed in the... More

I visited here today with my mother in law after a look round the shops, it was lunchtime and I asked for two afternoon teas- the lady replied 'I don't think we do them at this time'- I was a little forceful in my reply maybe don't have the sign up then. But she checked, said no problem and we... More

We all had jacket potatoes, which were really tasty. Not much other choice for vegetarians. Service was a cafeteria style.

Dropped in here for a cuppa after visiting the excellent Old Station Gallery in the otherwise uninspiring Peak Village retail development. With hindsight I wish we hadn't and had taken our thirst and appetite to Caudwell's Mill 400 yards along the road. Billing itself as a 'restaurant' does Massarella's no favours: it simply leads the customer to expect far more... More

Each visit sees ever increasing prices and falling standards of food. It seems that this place is being dragged down by the poor selections of outlets in the village. Been coming here for years but now has very little to offer

We live locally and visit often. What ever has gone wrong? On last 2 visits jacket potato was "nuked" to death and today, the tuna sandwich didn't have hardly any tuna in it. Butter was thicker and a doorstep of cucumber....yuk! Off the radar now.....sorry Jake!!
