Really lovely to sit out in the little garden surrounded by cottage garden plants and singing birds. My sister had goats cheese salad and really enjoyed it. I had carrot cake as I have never had a bad one, however this was easily the worst carrot cake I have ever eaten and I have tried many; it tasted of curry... More

I recently went for sunday lunch with my family. The atmosphere was great with lots of interesting things (everywhere) to look at and bring back memories of going out to old fashioned tea rooms with my grandparents as a child. I loved it! The service was very friendly and the food was even better. I had the roast beef which... More

What a little gem of a place. We had afternoon tea and the smoked salmon bagels were delicious. The scones were very light. And the stem ginger brownies were to die for. Good cup of tea (very important!). Very accommodating and friendly staff. Excellent service. Beautiful garden although we sat inside as it was a bit chilly. Child friendly. And... More

We visited after reading various reviews and were not disappointed. It's small and gets busy and although we did not book it might be best to book. We had a cream tea which was lovely. Generous pot of tea, we managed 3 cups each. The scones were warm and light and there was a choice of jam (we had blackberry... More

After a recommendation and not expecting much because of its name, we decided to give this place a try and we did not regret it. It was fantastic.

The food was excellent. Delicious tender braised beef and caramelised carrot. For dessert the Plum and Blackberry Eton Mess was exquisite. Great service and good wine. I think that the full meals are probably better value than snacks and teas. The garden at the back is really pretty with lovely little private enclaves. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my third visit to the tea room. This time I had the Sunday roast beef which was really huge and lovely. I thought the puddings were quite small but cleverly designed as noone had much room left anyway! Make sure to book as this little place is very popular.

It wasn't our first visit to Worth Matravers tea room. Lovingly designed, beautiful, delicious menu, fast service despite busy lunchtime on Mother's Day. Loved our meal there!

Situated in a beautiful rural location. Absolutely charming restaurant! We really enjoyed our meal, the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. I require a gluten free diet & this was very well catered for. I would definitely recommend a visit. Thoroughly delightful!!
