If you are looking for very good pub fare, this is it. Not just hamburgers but quality salads and mains. Throw in some daily specials (like the chicken wings) with friendly service and all in all, an enjoyable experience. It is a little dark and can be noisy and crowded (due to its popularity).

Even though there are several dining areas we had to wait for a table on a Thursday night. We expected to have to wait a while and we did - about 45 mins. for the food. Large portions - neither of us could eat everything. But it was all tasty and good value.

Went there on a Thursday night and the place was packed! Good indication that there's good food. They had a special on that night for $3.50 burgers and only $3.00 extra for fries (you had to order a drink to get that price - but as we had ordered beers it was all good!). Not the largest burger in the... More

Being an expat from England, this is what a pub should be like! Usual pub food with extremely generous portions, and it was very good with a great selection of specials too. Was quite busy, but the service was great and plenty of screens showing different sports. Parking provided and only a short detour which is well worth while if... More

We arrived in the later evening for dinner. The parking lot was quite full as was the restaurant. We found a quiet table and were immediately given menus and asked what beverage we wished. When we ordered the food was quickly ready albeit the place was fairly full. There were certainly sufficient wait staff, all who were pleasant and friendly.... More

My husband and I come here often for the huge breakfasts. One order is more than enough for both of us - the portions are huge! Good prices. Good customer service. I only wish they had some healthier options on the menu - its pretty standard pub food.

I've driven past this pub for years and for one reason or another I never had the time to try it out. So glad I finally did. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and to watch some playoff hockey. The staff was friendly and when things subsequently got very busy they kicked into high gear to make sure... More

The Prairie Inn Neighbourhood Pub is just down the road from us and is our place of choice for pub food; however, I have to say that we have NEVER had better fish and chips anywhere in Victoria as we had tonight! Everything was outstanding... The place was jam-packed as usual, but that didn't show... The great service and friendliness... More

Having moved to the area this was on our list to try. Very typical pub fare. Fries were not house-made which was disappointing. Average service and pricing. Very wasteful to have to rip open tiny ketchup packages for our meals. Won't likely return.

Great spot, great beer, great food! This pub has history, its worth stopping in to soak it in. Meet friends or a date night, the food is pub food, with a home cooked touch.
