Had a great lunch. Started with baked oysters. Had the gumbo and shrimp melt. Hubby had the jambalaya. All was delicious, mild spicy but a couple hot sauces at the table. Cheese cake. was fantastic Staff was very friendly

We walked to this adorable Louisiana style shack from our Hotel at Brentwood Bay Resort. This place is right on the water and has a ton of local flavor. I came for the Jambalaya and was a bit dissapointed but my husband's stuffed cannelloni was amazing! I'd go back just for that alone! The ribs at the next table looked... More

We enjoyed a perfectly smoked rack of ribs that fell off the bone! The whisky bread pudding was outstanding. Everything on the menu looked good. Great service and atmosphere.

This place was recommended to us by the tour boat operator at the Butchart Gardens. It was everything he said it could be. The food was incredible and portions were large. My wife and I had Cannelloni stuffed with seafood and my son had Jambalaya. Both were fabulous. You can eat out on the deck overlooking the small harbor or... More

I know it is supposed to be the Bayou, but the food did not live up to the prices and even the bathroom was located outside and around the back. Sorry guys!

Love the fried green tomatoes. I have to admit that although I try to order something else for a change I can't NOT have them. My friends give me a taste of their meals but I am reluctant to share mine!

They have an interesting menu and the food usually comes up to expectations - with the odd disappointment...... However, the location and ambience are wonderful as this little restaurant is situated right on the water overlooking the bay and the distant Malahat mountains - lots going on - kayakers, ferry, sailing boats etc. The waitress, depending who you get, is... Came here for some beers and appy's. Had great service and food. Lovely views sitting out on over water patio. Make sure to use the washroom and check out the interior, lots of interesting stuff posted on the walls!
