Quaint wooden structure on pilings located on Brentwood Bay. Fast and efficient service. Most of the offerings are "home-cooked." Excellent salads and soups. A great place for lunch

Went to the Seahorse Cafe for lunch with the girls on a beautiful Saturday. We were sitting on the deck and it took awhile to get service. One of the girls is vegetarian and they did not have a lot of vegetarian items. We did not order any items that needed a lot of preparations, I ordered soup and a... More

This is a great little spot that is often overlooked. It is located just to the right of the Mill Bay Ferry ramp in Brentwood Bay, Victoria. It has nice outdoor seating and the service is friendly and accommodating. It also has cute indoor seating. I loved the mermaid wrap with yam fries. In the evening this casual cafe transforms... We walked on the Ferry to Brentwood Bay for lunch! Right as the ferry was pulling in we saw a restaurant right beside it! What a perfect location! The service and food was great! The view was outstanding you could watch the boats go by and the kayakers. (Which they rent Kayaks at the seahorse café)! They don’t have a... More

Good food and great views of the area describe this restaurant. We stopped for lunch at this cafe located on the boat dock and enjoyed a wonderful lunch, mostly sandwiches. Some did order dessert. Staff was friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed watching the samll craft come in and out of the water area. It is a favorite of the locals.

Right on the bay with open windows on nice days, the seahorse is a relaxing replace to enjoy a beverage or two and have a great dinner. Small and unassuming, great food, service, and view. Can't ask for much more.

errible service and terrible, over priced food. I don't blame the staff, they were obviously overwhelmed and not properly (or at all?) trained. I blame the owner for allowing this to happen and for just not caring about his customers. The final insult added to the injury was the "two pieces of fish and chips" for $18 dollars. Given the... Good food, and a very frindly staff. A slightly more formal dresscode fo the waiters would be nice. Anyway we will be back.

The Seahorses Cafe is adjacent to the Brentwood Bay ferry dock. It's on the waterfront, actually over the water at high tide. The predominant view is of the dock and beach below. There's lots of seating inside and outside. I was part of a group for lunch at Seahorses on a warm, sunny afternoon. We ate at tables on the... More

My wife and I had a bit of desert here. The ambiance of the restaurant on a dock was splendid. Fantastic brownies!
