This used to be a reliable destination for a decent lunch or dinner, but it has been in a serious decline. The food is okay, although unremarkable and at times, quite bad. The service is terrible - so slow. Servers who disappear. And don't seem to be paying attention. Food that takes forever to arrive. I really hope they fix... More

We waited and waited and waited for lunch today. How long does it take to ladle seafood chowder and make calamari and a salmon wrap? The calamari was lukewarm but the chowder was piping hot. The view from the restaurant is incredible.

After having spent the weekend in Tofino, we popped over to Ukie for brunch before heading back to civilization. Little did we know that Black Rock Resort brought civilization to the wild west coast of Vancouver Island. We were pleasantly surprised with the meal, with the salmon eggs benny being amongst the best we ever had. Maybe they were even... More

Having spent nights on MacKenzie Beach, we decided to check out Ucleulet on our way back home. Having lunch at Black Rock Resort was recommended by the staff where we were staying. The signage is poor and having made this decision on the spur of the moment, we hadn't looked up the address and printed out directions so we had... More

My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Fetch. I had the octopus special appetizer and she started with the salmon basket. Both were excellent. For mains I had the albacore tuna and she enjoyed surf and turf. Her steak was prepared exactly right. The tuna dish would be great if you're watching your calories as it had... More

Four of us dined here for my parents anniversary meal. The food was delicious and the staff very knowledgable about the local wines and which one went best with each dish. Lovely setting. Staff were very busy on our evening so we had to wait a little longer than usual for the meal but it was worth the wait. Would... More

We had reservations for the restaurant on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for dinner. We made these reservations when we booked the resort in the fall. Christmas Eve we had a lovely table overlooking the water, even though it was dark! One of us ordered caesar salad with prawns and they were tough and overcooked. . otherwise the food and... More

I've been to black rock a few times in the past few years and every time I go the food is always fantastic. Recently I went for brunch and ordered the pacific benny which came with salmon and prawns. I'm fairly picky with brunch but the food was exceptional. Perfectly poached eggs, incredibly fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. You can... More

The service was good however the food was just okay and very expensive. My partner had surf and turf and I had the lamb shank. It was very average. Meals are on average $40

We've grabbed breakfast sandwiches and taken them to the "Trail" in the summer but this is December in Ucluelet and the next best thing is breakfast at Fetch where the view is spectacular and the food is great too. I had the Breakfast Burrito which was huge and came with potatoes and a small fruit salad. It was excellent! Our... More
