Wentfor a solo dinner while visiting Iqaluit on business. The prices were typical for the North but the food was absolutely worth it. I had the soup to start which was a really nice coconut curry soup, with vegetables, lentils and potatoes. The restaurant manager had recommended I try the burgers or the Lobster Mac 'n' Cheese, I was torn.... More

During a recent trip to Iqaluit, I dropped into the Kickin' Caribou for a cold beer and some dinner. The staff were very friendly and service was fast. A nice friendly atmosphere, and a good spot to relax with a pint at the end of the day. Dinner was good and the price was quite reasonable by Iqaluit standards. I... More

Stopped in after checking in for a bite to eat. Busy with live music. Food isn't cheap, but it isn't anywhere in the area. Great spot!

What a great place to go. YOLO challenge is that food plate with too much food and they Challenge you to eat it! If you do you get it free and a T-shirt saying you beat the challenge. Lots of fun at the Kickin' Caribou Pub. Live music and other fun things going on. The BEST Chicken Wings in town... More

Well, by Nunavut standards this is pretty good. Go early for best service as when this place gets full it is packed and the busier, the portions seem to get smaller. Servers are usually really good and friendly, but as soon as you get to know them, they are gone. Food menu gets tired from offered too long, changes do... More

I was disappointed with this place. Aside from the fact that its selection gets tedious after several nights in Iqaluit, there was no country food on the menu. Further service is excruciatingly slow even when the place is not packed. You'll need to show some initiative to get served. There's not much diversity in beer either. Food prices are okay,... More

The food is pretty good and the service prompt and friendly. As one would expect in Iqaluit the prices make your hair curl - but they are the same as prices throughout Iqaluit. Music Thursday through Saturday and the local performers are quite ok

I've eaten here a few times now, and its always interesting. The food is high quality, and you get your moneys worth which is hard to do in Iqaluit. The menu has several items, and the recommended are the Big Man Burgers and the Arctic Charr and Chips. The staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and always coming by... More

It's decent, but don't go here for food. They have a lot of items on their menu that are consistently not available. When I have ordered food, there's always items missing or if they are there it's burnt!
