Good food but our experience was ruined by the hour long wait after we ordered. Even when we were told our food was being plated it still took 20 minutes to arrive. No apologies until the food was at the table.

The four of we old foodies had dinner at The Truffle House & Café on Saturday evening. It was the third visit over a couple of years for all of us. It is a small restaurant with a cozy intimate atmosphere and always seems to be busy. The place is popular and a reservation is essential for dinner on the... More

This is a great little café in Dundarave West Vancouver. The congestion within the café adds to the ambiance of dining here. Service is attentive and charming, however there is considerable time wait for the meal, but the overall product produced is highly satisfactory. I thought I would never enjoy Swiss rosti again but here it is, just to be... More

My husband and I and another couple had dinner at The Truffle House one Saturday night. Although we all live on the North Shore, three of our party had never been to The Truffle House and I had only been there for lunch. We all were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the meal. As appetizers we had two... More

Ate brunch here two weekends in a row it was that good. Owner was lovely felt like we were a guest in her home. Next weekend the owner was not there but rest assured she obviously has hand picked her staff because they were wonderful. Can hardly wait to visit for dinner.

We had our Christmas party at this restaurant. What an amazing place. The appetizers were delicious and so beautifully plated. Each dish was not only scrumptious but was a perfect portion. The service was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was very inviting. This restaurant is a true gem.

The crepes are real galettes - just like in Brittany - with a range of different fillings. The staff are charming French women - and very efficient - so the whole meal was a delight. Even the coffee was excellent. apparently they are only open for dinner on FridaySaturday,

First visit to this restaurant and food was excellent. Service was very attentive and friendly with constant top ups of coffee. Very enjoyable brunch. Small place and obviously very popular by how busy it was on a Monday morning.

We visited with our Daughter this past weekend for an early dinner, on this occasion we all decided to order courses we had not tried before and were all delighted with our choices. Started with the Charcuterie share plate, ample if not generous portion of fresh sliced meats and cheeses with a delicious dipping sauce. Main courses of steelhead trout... More

Visited this lovely restaurant with friends in September. What a little gem. Immediately felt at home with the relaxed atmosphere and convivial host. The food was of the best quality and tasted sublime. A visit to this restaurant should not be missed, thank you for this taste of France. Bon appetite!!

Description
It can be described as a restaurant, coffee shop, caterer, boutique and evenart gallery, but The Truffle House & Café is truly a warm place to eat European cuisine at a very reasonable price. Philippe & Fabienne Chaber have created a cozyand comfortable atmosphere and offer a delicious combination of French, Italian and West Coast specialties that your taste buds will love.Fabienne was taught the art of gastronomy in France by Michelin Star chefs Michel Mico and Jean Sulpice. With Philippe, they managed one of the biggest gastronomy and entertainment resorts of the French Riviera (Cap d'Antibes), La Maison des Pêcheurs. In the kitchen, the "West Coast touch" is provided by Dundarave's very own James Hodgins, former Beach House restaurant executive chef. Part of their mission is to "democratize" the truffle – to allow people to add truffle, truffle butter, truffle oil, or truffle sauce to their meals at reasonable prices.
