We were also there on Bank holiday Monday 17th April, the staff are friendly and more interested in getting your drinks and getting you settled rather than forcing a menu under your nose and taking your money, its clean and mostly always quiet, (note to staff- dont sit people with children near us oldies, we have had our share our... Visited the Bull's Head Bank Holiday Monday and what an enjoyable experience it was! Welcoming, cheerful and attentive staff, lovely building beautifully clean - and the food, well! VERY wide menu choice, realistically priced and the descriptions mouth-watering. My brother and myself opted for the chicken with bacon, cheese, barbecue sauce and chips. It was easily the tastiest pub meal... More

Had a lovely meal with the family. Plenty of choice on the menu, from faggots to lasagne. All meals were excellent. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely welcome on arrival. Room was well equipped, tv, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, free wifi and soft large towels. Small fridge in room, milk, water and fruit juice. Plenty of tea/coffee sachets. More available on asking if required. Continental breakfast was adequate and consisted of fresh fruit (plenty in fruit bowl), cereal and fruit juice. Was nice to be able to... More

Good food served quickly. Very tidy place. Food is reasonably priced and good choices. Son was delighted that the children's menu had lasagna on it. Friendly staff and friendly people. Worth stopping for.

We decided to find a rural situated guest house we could meet at (1 couple from Margate and 1 couple from manchester) the place was polite and friendly and the flexible. The food was perfect, hot and delivered quickly. Rooms we stayed in were very nice and well equipped. The staff were happy to advise on the local area and... More

No "foody" smell when you enter this pub/restaurant. Visit on a Tuesday, or sometimes a Friday and the free Wurzel Bush Filk Club will be on great entertainment. Friendly staff, large car park at rear.

First impressions were very good. Big car park, well laid out pub, lovely feel to my room. The style they have chosen is classy yet contemporary. Nice touch to have a fridge in the room, although it is quite noisy. Food in the restaurant was well cooked, seasoned and tasty. The only thing that stops this being a 5 is... More
