We were sent there by the hostess of our airbnb and it was really a good advice. The terrace has a beautiful view, the atmosphere is relaxed, all is clean, the music not too high and above all staff are extremely available and professional, and...the food is very good. Recommended.More

This place is run by people who really love to cook and provide a pleasant atmosphere. We liked the roof deck with the bamboo bar. But it can get a bit windy, so bring a light jacket.

The food is incredible and when you receive your bill for 15CUC for two people you will wonder how this can happen. How can you have just eaten a plate of huge shrimp cooked perfectly with a huge fresh salad, and the crispiest fried boniatas...with sea salt that cost less than a fried burger outlet would cost for lunch. Also very attentive friendly service.More

Good food, friendly service in a well appointed room. We ate here three times mainly because just about everywhere else was closed because we were in Gibara out of season. If I would suggest one thing to the management ... get rid of the ghastly...cheap prints on the walls (probably a job lot from China) and replace them with artwork by local artists.More

My husband and I ate at this restaurant a number of times during our one week stay in Gibara. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed a number of items on the menu. One that stood out was the fish stuffed with ham and cheese, I've...never had this before and it was awesome. The beans and rice always one of my favourite Cuban foods, did not disappoint. So very tasty here. The portions were plentiful. My husband who says he does not like flan, had flan every time for dessert lol. He said La Perla had the best flan in all of Cuba!More

We loved this restaurant, it was one of the best meals we had on a two week trip. There is a terrace, but it was too windy so we ate inside; a very nice dining room and not at all chilly as our guidebook had...suggested. We had a gorgeous fish soup followed by prawns in a tomato sauce (camareros enchillados) and fried rice, a nice change from the usual rice and beans. This lovely meal cost less than CUC$30, but I would happily have paid more, it was delicious.More

Amazing food!! Challenging to find, but a great location with awesome service. A higher class dining experience without crazy prices. Great drink selections with a view of the ocean from the top deck!
