We had seen the photos looking across the water on tripadvisor and the views we had from our table werent quite so spectacular but we cane to eat, not look at the scenery. The menu had two sides, an all day breakfast menu with many...of the usual suspects and the flip side which included lunch options, including the burger and the calamari salad pictured. Service was good and the staff were friendly and professional. The food was great but a challenge to get a small mouth around the burger.More

My partner and I often frequent Cafe 7 and this morning was no exception to call in for breakfast . My partner ordered bacon and eggs and requested them to be scrambled only to be told that scrambled was extra . Why we asked ,...it’s the same egg but scrambled, it doesn’t cost any extra to scramble an egg. When we mentioned we have owned a cafe for 20 plus years and never heard of any cafe ever charging extra for scrambled eggs the waitress argued that it does cost more to make scrambled eggs and if we want scrambled eggs we have to pay extra . She continued talking over us to prove a point. Attitude and arrogance combined with principal left us cancelling our meal and walking to a nice personable cafe in the next block vowing to never return again . Was an extra charge for scrambled eggs worth loosing a frequent customer when we were already paying 15 % surcharge for a public holiday? Your waitress certainly isn’t . We never complain but her rudeness was beyond acceptable. .More

Well located in Paradise Point, the cuisine was quite good, Lamb Shanks in particular. Service was good and the drinks and desert options were appealing, we will return.

I bought a slice of Hummingbird cake and a slice of Coconut Lemon cake to take away as it was for my birthday - firstly it was a bit pricey at $9 per slice and secondly the Hummingbird cake was not fresh and the frosting...just tasted of the cream cheese that was in it, the Coconut Lemon cake was 1/3 lemon curd filling and 2/3rds whipped cream. It tasted quite nice but I would have preferred more 2/3 lemon curd filling and l1/3 cream.More

This place gets pretty good reviews so we decided to head there for breakfast on our way to Brisbane. We both ordered the savoury mince. There was absolutely no “savoury” with this meal. It was more like just plain mice with a tin of tomato...sauce poured in. It didn’t even come with sourdough, they place a piece of bread/toast that they obviously bought from the supermarket. Surely a Resturant should be getting their bread from a bakery or wholesalers. Very second rate and lazy effort with this one. 👎More

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food here is amazing (try the muffins!) and the staff are fantastic. I'm disabled and acutely sick and they always help to seat me somewhere I can park my 4 wheel walker. Today at...brunch, I had a seizure and the staff here went above and beyond to help me. They discreetly asked my mother and me if we needed help, brought me a lemonade, offered to help my mum get me in the car, and let me stay at the table until I was well enough to move again. I cannot seriously praise the workers enough. Thank you all so so much.More

We last visited cafe 7 in 2017 when they had the most amazing 3 course lunch deal. Sadly - no more. We’ve now had a visit for coffees and also a lunch visit - both good. They are taking the social distancing thing seriously which...is great and tables are well spaced. Coffees are reasonably priced - 4.70 odd for a mug size. For lunch we had the CCA (Chicken/Cheese/Avo) toasted sandwiches on Turkish (2 serves) and also a serve of their corn fritters with relish and avo. The toasted sandwich was seriusly yummo - there was a minor issue with the grilled chicken actually having been poached and a bit bland looking - but it was swiftly dealt with, the chicken was grilled and the sandwiches back at our table with no problems at all - and they were supremely tasty. The fritters looked fabulous and seem to be a very popular choice based on how many are being delivered to tables... it’s a personal taste thing for sure, but they needed a bit of oomph for want of a better word - the relish was ‘inoffensive’ verging on bland - but the fritter texture was nice and a very liberal serve of cracked pepper lifted the dish. Would order the toasted sandwich on turkish again, but probably not the fritters. But we’ve said it before and have seen it at multiple spots on the Gold Coast - there’s a possibility the older demographic leads chefs down the ‘bland’ road so that elderly customers don’t freak out at the slightest hint of heat/spice/flavour. Still a good visit and excellent service.More

Always a great venue for Breakfast, Lunch or a Takeaway Coffee. A perfect sunny Gold Coast Winter's Day, so I wanted to get out of the office at lunchtime to make the most of it. You can't fault the service at Cafe 7. The staff...are always friendly and efficient, and have made the most of post-COVID conditions with easy check-in via QR Reader. The food is fairly standard fare, but fresh and tasty. I ordered the Grilled Barramundi with Chips & Salad. The fish was cooked perfectly, chips were nice and crisp, and the salad fresh and tasty. All accompanied with a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Cafe 7 is adjacent to the Paradise Point Parklands. Perfect for a post-meal stroll along the shore of our Gold Coast Broadwater. Cafe 7 comes highly recommended!More

Always a great breakfast and excellent service My favourite juice - Fresh Start. Corn fritters are delicious, served with avocado, tomato relish and feta, and always a good sized portion
