We came here in a weekday and enjoyed our breakfast with a view. We had the falafel benny served with hot sauce plus squash and kale frittata with my choice of sour dough bread. Both were excellent.

We stopped in here on a very rainy Wednesday afternoon needing to warm up! What was needed was some hot coffee but when we saw the tomato soup on the menu it was just what the doctor ordered. Our waitress was great and allowed us...to split the soup without extra cost! This is a sign of a really good restaurant in my opinion. Now to the soup, it is homemade and comes with a nice piece of sourdough bread. Thick and hearty, it was absolutely delicious. The decor is true to the television show that filmed here in the 1970's. Lots of fun. Next time we are on the Sunshine Coast, this will be a 'must' destination.More

Had a nice lunch. The fish had a crispy light coating almost like tempura. The fish was moist and tender. The tartar sauce was a bit spicy but tasty. Fries & coleslaw were just ok. Homemade fries would have made this perfect. Tomato soup was...delicious. The server was very good. We were the only ones there on a Wednesday afternoon. A historic building I think but everything was clean. We will definitely be back when on the Sunshine Coast.More

So very disappointed! The food was very sadly lacking, the waitresses was cold and impersonal and the atmosphere felt like "get them in & out quickly". The current owners have ruined what was a great restaurant with awesome atmosphere and equally good food. This will...definitely be the last time I return hereMore

Had been to the old Molly"s many times,,,,,, this was our first visit with it under the new ownership. We were served our drinks (beer & wine) before we looked at the menu,,,,, when we did it was lacking any variety at all. We told...the server we had decided not to eat,,,, she came back a few minutes later saying she had been told we had to order food because we had drinks. Was such a shame as the old Molly's was a gold mine,,,,, now it's just a shadow of it's former self. Hope the owners read some of the reviews and make changes or they wont be in business long. Don't like to leave a bad review but it is what it is.More

Our waitress was pleasant and helpful when we went for lunch this week. The food however was an abomination. My friend ordered a salmon fillet on salad of chickpeas and kale. The chickpeas were hard as blackballs and so was the waaaayyyyyyyy overcooked piece of...salmon. She had to send it back after 2 bites because it was inedible. I ordered the monster Cobb salad and am still in shock. My plate arrived covered in kale with a fried egg on top 2 slices of something was was supposed to resemble bacon but was actually just so burnt it was laying in wait to dissolve into black dust. The fried chicken was passable and thank goodness the dressing on the mountain of kale was edible as well. There an onion slice and two small chery tomatoes to break up the mountain of kale. My friend returned her meal as it was inedible. I could not say mine was inedible (except for the bacon) but I did not enjoy this aliens version of a Cobb salad. It was the worst meal I've had to pay for. EVER. Run away from this restaurant and head straight across the street to Gramma's Pub. We liked Gramma's so much we went back 2x on our vacation!More

Seems a bit pricey, maybe the summer tourist menu was still in place. $18 for a deep fried overcooked boneless chicken back on fries with a couple ounces of coleslaw. Menu not very big so my niece wanted the $13 chicken fingers, they added another...$5 to the fingers because she was older than the "child" age making another $18 menu item with no extra chicken fingers? $8 approx 10 oz milkshake and you don't even get the "extra" in the mixing cup. Could be so much better.More

terrible food, ordered Seafood Chowder, never tasted anything worse!!!!horrible, had to complain to the waitress about it. Fish and chips were a rip off. served quater of a fillet and charged $ 18.00 for it.!!! our local pub in Poco serves better fish and chips....Overall lousy food and would not recommend to eat there. There are far better places in Gibson and Sechelt for eateries. Very poor quality restaurant.!!!!!More

Unfortunately overall my experience here was only a satisfactory visit. I was extremely unimpressed with the deceitfulness of what happened. Very excited to visit, as I had not been there since I was a child, at which I would visit this establishment every summer growing...up. Firstly my order came out double wrong. The sandwich was a piece of chicken and the soup came as fries.. they kindly fixed their mistake. However the fix was that they gave me way more food than ordered. Which seemed nice. A full sized soup came out, I asked this is the side soup?!! It was was too much I didn't even finish half after sharing with my table. The fries were brought back with the sandwich too. At this time I was assured that this wouldn't reflect the price and I would only pay for what I had actually ordered. Although, when the bill came I was charged an extra 'open' price for additional food which was added to my bill. Please don't tell your clientele one thing and do the opposite. If you were going to charge me for all the extra food brought, I would have not accepted the mistake or would have appreciated a straight forward, this will be extra ahead of time. Not after the fact when I was specifically told there would be no 'extra' charge. Food - great, service - nice but lied **watch out for additional charges that servers don't warn you of. Honestly no biggie if I was told at the time of order. But to bring someone the wrong meal then charge them extra for the restaurants mistake?! Hmm riddle me that. The last thing said by the server was, I ASSUMED you read about the substitutions. Well I read your online menu due to COVID-19 reasons, which does not state anything about not being able to substitute. Plus I did not even order the fries or a full sized soup for that matter! All in all I spent over $100 for lunch and left a nice tip, all things considered.More
