Had lunch there today, food was bland not a lot of flavour, not like you would expect from Chinese food, no garlic or soya sauce, any way, my friend ordered box B for lunch , which is chow me in, sweet and sour, and vegetable,...but the egg roll came with rice attached, which made us believe that it came from somewhere else??? Please explain, asked the waiter about it he said nothingMore

I am so happy we stopped here to get some dinner after getting off the ferry! The portions were huge and the prices were great. It was without a doubt the best chinese food I've had in a very long time. Will come back!

Their lunch special is a great deal with dozens of option combinations to choose from. Any of the stir-fires we've tried have fresh crisp vegetables (not over-cooked) and a good portion of protein - my favorite is the ginger beef. The two of us usually...only eat half and bring the rest home for another meal. Enjoy!More

We used to order delivery from here as our go-to Chinese here in Gibsons. In a short time - since we ordered not that long ago - the prices have gone up dramatically AND they started charging $5 if you're over 5km from the restaurant......we're about 6km. I mean, c'mon, $15 for chicken chow mein?? Price jump from $7.50 to $9.50 for the won ton soup?? Pork Mu Shu went from $13 to $16. Look if the food was awesome, we might order again but it's not... it's just ok Chinese food. We're just not ordering from here again. Very disappointed.More

I don't know what the person who gave it a poor review is thinking. They have my favorite wonton soup, the broccoli and beef is great, chow mein is great, as is the gai lan. Yes, it's basic chinese, but done very well. Portions are...large and the place is clean. Staff are friendly. It's a staple for us locals. Plus, it's open every day which many places in Gibsons are not. Great value!More

Dining out in COVID-19 times is interesting. Ordered food to go. The food was on point and the price was reasonable. The staff was disinterested but nice. I took the food to go but the view from the restaurant was great 🙂

I went there because a local had recommended it to us while we were on our Sunshine Coast vacation. The best part about it was that we were seated outside on a deck in a corner with a gorgeous view of the ocean and harbour!...We ordered the meal for minimum two people in which you get a bowl of soup of your choice, appetizers and two main dishes and sides. I took a bite of the fish appetizer which looked good in appearance, but then had to spit it out in my napkin because there was a rancid after taste which I think had to do with cheap oil they used to fry it in. The bright red sauce was also frightening because it also had a scary aftertaste. I thought I would give the inside of the egg roll a chance, so I took off the batter and tasted the vegetables inside it, but also had to spit those out as well because they tasted like dirty dishes, if you can imagine what those taste like. The meat on a skewer was some scary sort of chewy mystery meat that I couldn't stomach at all. The rice was way overcooked and even a bit lumpy. The chow main noodles way too oily and just gross tasting! I am sure the chicken they used was the cheapest, worst cuts of meat. I had to take all the batter off the orange chicken just to put a bit of food in my mouth because I was hungry. Even the broccoli was overcooked and bland tasting that was served with the chicken. As I walked around the restaurant at one point to use the washroom I looked at other dishes people were having, and they all looked so oily. My spouse wanted to take the extra food in a container to give to people in need, but I told him it was an insult to even offer this to anyone else and that it would be better for everyone for the food to be discarded! This is coming from a person (myself) who is a huge advocator preventing food waste, but in this case their food would be better off wasted!More

Very disappointed with our visit here May 30th. Chow mein was bland. Aren't you supposed to put something in it besides noodles? But far more disappointing than the chow mein was the unappreciative service received when placing our take out order. Felt like we were...more of an annoyance than a customer. Not even a Thank you for supporting us and we appreciate you coming in during these times. We were onl trying to support someone local to us, so they would be local to us in the future. Gibsons has many more Asian places to explore, so please pick another that appreciates your patronage. I will have to travel just a little bit further next time.More

I simply MUST eat here every time I come to the Sunshine Coast...... The view from the restaurant is phenomenal, either from inside during winter or from the amazing outside deck during summer. Staff is always friendly and the food is dependably very good.
