While visiting Kootenay area, we stopped in Creston for dinner. We decided to have chinese food. Lady from the bakery down the main road recommned the Club Cafe. It was an excellent choice. Maybe the place itself is not the best looking, but the gentleman that greeted us was very friendly and the food was excellent!!! There were 5 of... More

Grungy, needs an update. Poor lighting. Food was passable and service prompt. Good location. The best Chinese restaurant in area.

My husband and I visited the Club Cafe awhile back, and I must say, our experience this time was totally different! The food was very good! The beef with onion and ginger hot pot was delicious and the Singapore noodles were some of the best I have had! Nothing to special about the special fried rice, but it was good!... More

Definitely the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. All the dishes tasted the same. Had a comb and you gets lots, but.... it is terrible. All the veggies were either burnt or reheated on a grill that was not cleaned for a long time. I only ate my rice because I was really hungry and it looked like the... More

This little chinese restaurant is run by a very friendly elderly man. I always order chicken chop suey and my husband gets some kind of noodle bowl. They are never the same twice, but are made fresh and are always very tasty. The chinese green tea is especially good - wish I could buy it somewhere.

I dont understand the bad reviews? This place has the best chinese food I have ever had. I will admit that you are often the only one there (although I think most of his orders are take out), and the dining area isnt the nicest, but the food more than makes up for it. We have never been disappointed.

Not exactly a place you might go a second time. About the only thing I can say was worth mentioning is that the portion I received was large enough for two people. The taste was bland. I was the only person there so the cook was doubling as waiter. Not very sanitary either. The price was average but would not... More

Dirty, shappy and dimly light restaurant. Had the dinner smorg and it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. No selection, barely warm and very little taste. Terribly overpriced at $16.95 - would have been overpriced at $6.95. Not sure what has happened to this place as the reviews from 2-3 years ago were all 5 out of... More

Just went to the Club Cade for dinner. The place is very shabby, the rugs dirty and only one line of lights had been turned on. We were "greeted" by the cook himself...he shuffled his way over to our table asking what we wanted to drink. Hubby had tea...he said it was good. I asked if he had any chinese... More

This restaurant isn't the most immaculate place I've ever eaten - it's a little bit run-down and shabby. The food itself tasted ok, not very good but not terrible either. The servers were very nice, though!
