A friendly place. This is a local pub with seaside character. Better than average pub style food with some interesting variations. Try the `Knot Bugger`` a sausage patty topped with sauerkraut and hot mustered. The main room is divided into two by the large bar. Walking in the front door the room on the left is a little more interesting.... More

This wasn't our first visit to The Knot Pub. We called in for supper after visiting Ironworks Distillery. Food is great value, with plenty in a serving. The selection of beers on tap is primarily Nova Scotian and favours more of the Ale style. Definitely a recommended place to visit if in the area.

Stopped by for supper on a trip through Lunenburg. Love the big giant wooden door in the front. Great pub feel with good service. Food was great especially the Knot burger with homemade mustard! Will definitely be back.

The service was great. The drinks were great. The food was average however, scallops were very good but the fish and the fries were average, nothing special. Would go back though and would recommend as it is the only pun in the area!

We stopped into the Knot Pub as part of a birthday weekend. We had been outside and were chilled given the wet and foggy day. We were four plus hours from dinner and wanted a small bite and a drink. My partner had been to the Knot Pub before but I never had and I wanted to visit. I loved... More

A local highly recommended this pub to us and specifically said to get the knot burger. This was a mistake. The knot burger is a sausage patty with sauerkraut on a bun with fries on the side. It was not unusual, tasty, or very good. We would not visit again.

We stopped in on a cold, foggy day in mid-April to have a bite of lunch before returning to Halifax on our Day-trip. This was one of the best seafood soups that we have ever eaten! Absolutely loaded with chunks of fish, scallops, crab, clams and shrimp, it was more stew than soup. The service was fast and friendly. In... More

Great food. I recommend the mussel soup for an appetizer. LOTS of mussels and fantastic taste. The first is fantastic and fresh.

Took a special friend for his 80th birthday and we all really enjoyed the Greek Salad and fish and chips! Gorgeous fresh made fries accompanied the fluffy battered tasty fish. This was the quintessential pub experience as we ate in a sunny corner booth near the bar. Our server was also a very pleasant young woman who was most attentive.... More

Ate lunch here last week with friends and we all really enjoyed it. Friendly service and fun decor. Food was very good. Had steamed mussels and poutine and was stuffed. Great flavour. Will definitely come back.
