The woodsy atmosphere is inviting, but the TVs were SO LOUD during a Super Bowl playoff game you couldn't hold a conversation unless you yelled. My margarita tasted like dishwater, but the sangria was good. The service was fine, but their chairs are very uncomfortable. Decided not to stay for dinner. Better left for Apres ski drinks.

Good sort of fast food. Not a fancy place, but still warm, cozy and with friendly service. Quite a loud casual place.

Pretty basic pub food but there is a decent selection. The food wasn't anything particularly fantastic but it wasn't bad either. The inside has cute decorations and it has a very cozy feel. It is located right at the base of the mountain so it's convenient and we had a nice view of the skiers while we ate.

Good spot after ski. Excellent for a beer. Food is correct vs Tremblant restaurants and service is excellent.

We managed to book a table for Lunch in Eraly January and the food and service was excellent. The Burgers are all very good and thoroughly enjoyed by all age groups. The Monster Dog is a monster dog so make sure you have a monster Appetite...

Inside its decorated like an outdoor sports bar. Yes there's trees and a starry sky. Burgers were good. Don't expect more and you'll leave happy.

So, we went last night and food was good, if expensive for what it was. It was $100 for dinner for three with one beer, one cider and one Manhattan. I guess it's a typical après price, just a little sticker shock. If I were to suggest anything, a cocktail menu would be great. I love a margarita after skiing.

i ordered the garden salad and it came with a Balsam dressing with a hint of maple syrup. It was really good.

French onion soup was average, Caesars was poorly dressed, hot dog huge but not a great tasting dog, fajitas had little chicken and chicken kabob was way over priced. Not a great experience.

Dear shorereviews, Even though you found the service good I am truly sorry that your visit at the restaurant was average at best. We will definitely be using this review to improve on our shortcomings. Hopefully, next time you come to the restaurant you will have a better experience. Best regards, Christian More

I knew we were in for a mediocre dinner when the beer offerings were listed. Pedestrian, mass-produced beers that insult the strong brewing history of Quebec were the only beer offerings. Sadly i passed and tried another type of beverage. Our dinners took well over 30 minutes to arrive. The food was generally acceptable in both quantity and quality but... More

Dear zubill, I am sad to hear that your experience at Le Shack was not to your liking. Even though the restaurant is very busy during the holiday season, waiting 30 minutes for an undercooked meal is unaccaptable. This is not the norm in our establishment and I personally apologize for this. As for the beer selection, we must please... More

One of the most popular restaurants in Tremblant’s pedestrian village, Le Shack stands on the original site of the Chalet des Voyageurs, built by the legendary Joe Ryan in 1939 at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant. Philadelphia-born Joe Ryan was an eccentric millionaire and a visionary. With encouragement from his wife Mary and a parish priest, Father Deslauriers, Ryan founded the second ski resort in North America: Mont Tremblant Resort. During the 1940s and 50s, the Chalet des Voyageurs was the preferred meeting place of skiers, who’d congregate after a day on the slopes to swap stories with friends. With its warm and cozy atmosphere, Le Shack carries on this tradition of offering the best après-ski in Tremblant. The “Shack” – so named for the Quebec “sugar shack” in tribute to the longstanding tradition of shacks erected for the spring maple syrup season – recreates the spirit of good times with good friends. To honour Joe Ryan and perpetuate the tradition of the sugar shack, the folks at Resto-Bar Le Shack welcome you for your après-ski gatherings at the foot of Mont Tremblant.
