The place is exactly what North Hatley is about. Tranquil setting, good food with wild life around, even in the backyard setting where we had lunch. Lots of birds, and the absolutely biggest caterpillar seemed to inch its way across the terrasse. Fries great. Smoked meat sandwich was very good. The salads appear to be the best option, very generous... More

I stopped here after 30 miles of biking and was delighted to have such a wonderful quiche and croissant sandwich to share with my husband. It was so tasty and fresh. There wasn't a lot of English spoken, but we did get everything figured out!

We so enjoyed sitting and gazing at Lac Massawippi from the porch of this sweet shop, and when we had to hit the road we took along great sandwiches and an especially tasty nectarine-tomato-red onion salad!

We stopped for a pastry before riding the bike trail, and what a nice treat! My chocolate croissant with almonds tasted delicious, and I wish we had time to come back for more! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is at a counter facing the lovely river.

Nice place to stop in for a lunch. Offers a select number of sandwiches, quiches and salads, plus baked goods like croissants, and coffee is nice too. The decor and ambiance is relaxed and fun. I recommend..... but do stay away from the next door Pilsen restaurant.... horrible experience with poor quality (old) food.

The food was delicious ( sandwiches on a baguette and variety of accompanying salads). I would recommend eating outside ( two small tables face the lake). Coffee was EXCELLENT!! Nice selection of homemade desserts. Lovely affordable experience.

They have good sandwiches made to order with a great selection of local cheeses. We shared a very nice tomato pie. The soup of the day was also very tasty. Highly recommended for lunch or a for a snack between lunch and dinner.

This is a great little bakery with fabulous sandwiches, mouth watering baked goods, a nice selection of cheeses and hams, and very helpful service. We got our lunch here each day of our trip and will most definitely return.

This is a great spot to pick up a treat, a sandwhich and salad or to have a coffee. The staff are attentive and nice and they serve as we order. The cakes and tarts are a must !
