My wife and I had just had a wonderful Victoria Day brunch at the Pig. Funky decor, friendly service and excellent food. Everything is made form scratch and we enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros and the LTD Burger. The burger consisted of home ground brisket and chuck with American cheddar. Don't follow this with ice cream and waffles topped with local... More

My boyfriend and I were staying at an amazing AirBnb in town (Raven House-check it outttt!!) and they recommended the Socialist Pig for lunch. We were not disappointed! The place is beautifully decorated, with unique art and a cozy atmosphere. We were warmly greeted and both received amazing meals to set our afternoon right. We were lucky to meet the... More

The historic building has been well preserved, but is not handicap accessible with stairs to be navigated. One of the few restaurants in Gan. that a vegetarian can get a good meal. We had Mediterranean Lental soup that tasted just like home made. Thick with lentals, chunks of tomato, and excellent flavour.

Hands down the best breakfast resto I've been to! The five of us each had something different and all raved how good it was. Excellent food and lovely presentation. The resto itself is very quaint and unique. The service and staff are very friendly and efficient, and the clothing and accessories store attached to it had some really nice stuff!... More

This is a nice little coffee shop with home-made cakes and cookies and some light lunch fare. It has a deck outside. Locals congregate for a cup of coffee and a friendly chat. There is a connecting store with clothing for men and women . Free newspapers are available to share with other guests. The place is close to the old... More

after a lousy birthday brunch in the summer on their deck vowing to never return, my husband wanted to take a drive on a sunny New Year's Day-we ended up at Gan to give it another try ordered the brisket-it was accompanied by bottom of the bag potato chip pieces and a coleslaw of kale leaves floating in a milky... My gf and I went for lunch today at the Pig. It was a little loud as there was a group of six in the eat in area. After they left it seemed very quaint. The server was very prompt & explained that if we decided to order something (which we did) it may take all little longer as the... More
