As there was too much of a wait at the Memphre Brasserie, we decided to go here as one in our party was craving for flank steak. They have a good flank steak here as well as the other place. They are actually similar places except that Cafe St-Michel is more for the older crowd (40+). They have live entertainment... More

Local bar with live music and tyical pub food. Has outside patio with very good live entertainment. Can be loud inside but great location and great atmosphere. Pool table in the back. Only drawback is the smokers who are right outside the door, reminds me of the 80's inside a typical bar room, aside for that, everything is good. Staff attentive... More

A cafe/bar offering a reasonable selection of fairly standard pub dishes (soup, sandwiches, poutine) which was great for a quick stop to break a long day in the car.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on our visit to Magog. The servers were great. Food was fantastic. We all had the mussels and couldn't have been happier. I have been all over Europe and tried mussels in Belgium and France. I ever in my wildest dreams would think that a restaurant in Magog would outdo the best that I... More

Average pub grub, good service and live music on Saturday night. Although advertised as homemade fries, the fries looked and tasted more like frozen fries with too much spices.

Everything about this pub was so-so. The food was filling, but my poutine was overly salty, and the burgers a bit dry, though the potage du jour was delicious. Beer selection on tap and in bottles was too mass-produced American for my taste. This pub should capitalize on their central location near the lakefront in Magog and turn it into... More

We were looking for a cozy place to go eat during our stay at Estriemont. Most of Magog's restaurants were closed on that Monday night chilling winter so we decided to walk on Main Street very nice town btw ;-) Our choice went down to St Michel as it seemed really nice. We had a shared fajitas plater it was... More

We stopped in to eat here because the menu posted outside looked good. Wow! The service was a bit slow but there was only one waiter. She tried very hard to see to everyone in a timely manner. The food was excellent! I recommend the fish and house salad! The Goose Island beer was also tasty!!

When we visited there was a slightly older crowd of people having a great time dancing to live music. It was a one man show and he was an excellent musician. There was a feel good atmosphere and everyone was happy. Being from the states, it was easy to fit in and enjoy the show. We had a great time.... More
