There are hundreds of choices of where to dine in and around Campbell River, but this hidden gem is where the locals go to have a great meal in a uniquely quaint and comfortable setting. And yes the restaurant is on a floating barge. The...hard working staff ensures every guest receives their best while the kitchen staff churns out the best of what the region has to offer. We went with the Seafood Pot, salmon, clams, mussels, halibut and snapper. This is a place to relax, enjoy the company of others while dining casually on local sourced (within 100 meters of the restaurant) seafood. I went with the Seafood Pasta, simply amazing, my wife the traditional fish & chips. And although the seafood pot was an appetizer, it could easily serve as a full meal for one person.More

Our family is a challenge to feed. One vegetarian one celiac one with both gluten and dairy allergies and one very picky 7 year old The lady at the restaurant assured us that they would accommodate all of above. They did. Admirably The food isn’t...fancy but it’s very good. We each enjoyed what we ordered - even the 7 year old!! We had asked to be seated well apart from the other patrons and that was no problem either We ate prior to going on a sunset cruise and it worked out perfectlyMore

While staying at Ripple Rock RV we had dinner at The Narrows Floating Restaurant - no disappointment there. Good chicken wings followed by Blackened Pecan Salmon (to die for) and Seafood Fetticini (fresh seafood) all while sitting on a floating patio and overlooking the bay....Also a nice selection of adult refreshments. Glad we took the night off from cooking.More

Four people (2 couples) stayed at Brown’s Bay Fishing Resort for 4 days, which included all meals at The Narrows. All of our meals were terrific!! Items ordered over the 4 days included steak & crab dinner, crab bisque, steamed seafood pot, crab dinner, salmon...burger, fish & chips (with halibut or rockfish-the rockfish delicious) and coconut pie. Everything is made on site and was so delicious...WOW WOW WOW!! All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating but a special shout out to Devon & Kyle who were absolutely terrific!! Go, order anything and I’m sure you’ll be very pleased with it...especially the coconut pie 🥧More

The Narrows Floating resturant is a gem! Beautiful location right on the water and the view is outstanding. I ate here twice during my visit to Browns Bay and each time the food was amazing. Definitely order the fish & chips and the calamari. Good...variety of food and drinks and the service was great! The server was very friendly and the resturant is doing a great job keeping their customers spaced out and safe.More

While the gravel road is a deterrent to some the reward is worth the drive. For a floating/seasonal restaurant, the food is outstanding, sesame tuna burger was cooked to perfection. The server was great as well!

Drove 20 min from Campbell River to try seafood from Brown's Bay. My wife had the seafood hot pot and I had the halibut fish and chips. My wife enjoyed the hot pot, but said the portion size was very small. My fish was grilled...and not battered, which was not in the menu description. Never had fish n chips which didn't use batter. Tasted ok. View was excellent but it was a long drive for mediocre food.More

A long drive for little seafood that is greasy andlacking quality ingredients. Over priced and sadly lacking quality.
