There isn't much competition. I only know of 2 Thai places in town, but of them, this one is by far the best!! Cooked by a beautiful Thai woman with recipes from home that are not 'Canadianized'; it is full of fresh and fantastic flavours and textures. I can't think of a single thing on the menu I don't like.... More

Enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio. Great food and lovely service. The new Vietnamese restaurant downstairs seems to be taking a lot of their service, hopefully they will survive the competition. The curry was flavourful with the right amount of spice.

Service is great. Food is very tasty. You can get it seasoned from mild to mild medium to very hot. They will accommodate your taste. Food is always served hot (temperature).

During our visit to Campbell River, we were in the mood for Thai so we decided to try the local offering. Reading the TA reviews, Baan Thai sounded relatively promising. We were disappointed - with both my husband and I having previously frequented a number of different Thai cuisine restaurants in different cities (including those in Thailand itself), we were... I have never been to a Thai restaurant before, but have had Thai food at many places or even frozen from the grocery store. I LOVE pad thai, and usually make it myself but it takes me forever. Heard so many good things from this place but was very disappointed. My pad thai was very bland, very mild, came with... More

Authentic Thai flavours, quaint cozy setting. Maybe short staffed, but could use an extra server or front end member.

This place is ok, I prefer Imagine Thai, however if you're looking for a restaurant with a great balcony and proper dining facility.

We were half way through our dinner when the waitress brought the bill and then asked if we want the machine. When we pointed out we were in the middle of eating, she said that they wanted to close. Completely rude and horrible service. We will never eat there again.

When we're into Thai food, this is where we like to go. The food is consistently good although the service can be slow due to take out orders, so allow time. The jasmine rice is delicious and may have a few calories, as are most of the dishes. Always yummy!
