Love to eat there. There is a place for the kids so they can play during the time you enjoy a glass with your friends:) Excellent food and choices!

Maybe the chef was sick, cause flu is going around the valley. It took 30 minutes to receive our hot turkey sandwich "special". It arrived barely warm, tough, and terrible, it was a piece of toast covered with shredded lettuce and 2 grilled chucks of turkey, topped with a gravy that looked like phlegm. Not eye appealing or edible. When... More

My husband and I went for dinner here on a Friday night. The service was great but the food was boring. The curry dish was okay nice but the mac and cheese had no flavour at all. We won't be back.

We eat here whenever we're in Courtenay because they have great vegetarian and vegan options and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Their bean dip is the bomb diggity texture wise, but a little bland: be prepared to dose it with salt, pepper, and a blast of hot sauce. Great veggie omelettes, quesadillas, salads, and fries (both regular and... More

Large portions, great food and friendly staff. Doesn't look much from the outside but worth the visit. A good family spot too

We went in on a recommendation from a friend. The place is quirky inside with condiments served in saucepans and mismatched furniture, which we really liked!! This place had a really relaxed atmosphere and reminded me a lot of a cafe we stayed at on Galiano Island. The food service was prompt and polite. I ordered the Steak Sandwich with... More

My wife and I recently returned to Courtenay for a re-union and christmas concert. We went to Union St Grill before our concert, The food was fabulous. We had two food challenged people with use and the restaurant accommodated them well. The service was professional and attentive. The ambience is good at restaurant. It will always be a favourite when... More

This visit to Union Street Grill was not the usual good food, good service, good time. The wait staff certainly worked at doing their jobs well but the kitchen seemed at odds with that since some of the food was stone cold by the time it arrived on the table. I don' t know for sure, but it did look... More

The seafood pasta was delicious. The shellfish and prawns not over cooked and very fresh tasting. Very very good!!!! So was the grilled Caesar salad!!! Not over priced either. Great bar menu!!!
