Awesome food and unique menu. Amazing margaritas and drinks - you can truly tell someone cares about food and the customer. Outstanding servers too. Hey - the place is always busy for a reason.

The seating options outdoors or in are tight, uncomfortable and, for the discernible here and now, face street traffic and sidewalk construction. Felt the need to cover both food and drink due to waves of construction dust. Waits for single stall bathroom were long and...congested waiting area. Husband ordered 3 different tacos, 1 of which the meat was like leather. I had pork burrito that was 3/4 rice and coleslaw. W/ 2 beers and tip, total was $63; far too much for dismal lunch experience.More

I went with the burrito bowl option and wasn’t disappointed…..delighted in fact! Delicious flavours and good volume left me completely sated. Also tried the blackberry margarita and loved it. My spouse went with three different taco options and found each to be uniquely tasty and...enjoyable…..albeit a wee bit messy (as they should be!!). So a very satisfying dining experience. Not just your typical Mexican restaurant, they create delectable dishes worth trying whenever in Golden. Highly recommended.More

Had taco dishes. Tacos were soggy and not very flavorful and small. Bowl of rice that came with it also was bland. Found it pricey for what it was. Would not recommend. At best a 2 stars.

This tiny Mexican restaurant is an absolutely fabulous place to eat. They don’t take reservations, so you may have to wait for a table, but it’s totally worth the wait. There’s a bar in the same building, so treat yourself to a locally brewed beer...while you wait. They take a number and text you with updates and then when your table is ready. All the servers are friendly, warm and helpful and the food came promptly and was really nicely presented. We had a mixture of taco’s, which were AMAZING. There are meat, veggie and vegan choices, I highly recommend the pork and beef. It comes with a bowl of rice and was so tasty. We had churros for pudding with a dip made of boiled condensed milk. They also do burritos and veggie dishes so would suit any family, group or couple. This is an outstanding place to eat in Golden.More

To properly review this place I have to say who I am. I live in Calgary such that Golden is one of my favourite places to visit near Calgary for outdoor activities. Before calling Calgary home, I lived in Mexico for 2 years. Plenty of...time to experience Mexico and all that it has to offer (people, places, culture, and food) - which in my opinion - at the top or certainly near the top of the list of things that Mexico has to offer is - the food - and stands out relative to the rest of the world. This puts the bar high for not only domestic Mexican restaurants, but restaurants outside of Mexico attempting to create good traditional or even modern Mexican food. This place - I would say - has done it. I am always satisfied when I eat here, something that I cannot say about any other Mexican place I've eaten at in Canada or outside Mexico. Also - this is my first review and probably my last - I couldn't help not expressing how good this place is to silence the naysayers.More

such a yummy spot for tacos! just true great variety, fresh sauces! We had some virgin mocktails and reg cocktails, all varieties were unique and made really well. I guess we snuck in right before they closed for the season. They have a small sign...that says theyll be open again in December. Cant wait!More

Tacos were amazing and had GF/DF options for my partner. Tequila drinks were a proper 2.5 ounce pour and not ridiculously over priced. Chips and Guac were homemade. Staff friendly. All ordering electronic by waitress, so made it very fast.

We had dinner outside and the food was good with good flavor. Our waitress was not very attentive and got more than one thing in our order wrong. We left feeling underwhelmed.

Very nice atmosphere and best burritos. Located in the main street. The food was really good and the service very efficient

Delicious chips and dip. The white bean sauce was really good. It's like a warm refried bean, highly recommend. Our tacos were fine. Great patio, very busy but the servers kept up!
