amazing fresh food faster than fast food. Delicious burrito bowls. Reasonable prices.....good sized portions. Wonderfully fresh. The salsa verde is excellent. Very comfortable, casual setting. My favourite eatery in Nelson.

Fresh, delicious and authentic Mexican food! A local relative brought us here for dinner, the burrito was huge! Funky little place where you place your own order and grab your own food. There was a Mexican band that came thru and sang, adding to the atmosphere. Recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.

We spotted El Taco while cruising up and down seeking a parking spot (not easy to find) then while window-shopping Baker Street made our way back there for lunch. Mostly a good choice. Although it is totally self-serve (order at the till and pay up-front), and return to pick up plastic bowls containing our food, it was fine. The chipotle... More

Great Food. Taco Salad, Burrito, Quesadillia all good. Nice size portions. Get a seat outside as its pretty hot inside.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Place looks sort of fun with a nice little garden. Had a very dry and bland burrito with a side of chips with a bland salsa and a beer for $22. Not great value.. Wouldn't be coming back here...

Love this place, great food everytime I've been and fresh. Not overly spicy for those that can't handle the true Mexican heat!

We had mojitos, seafood tacos, pork tacos; and chips and guacamole. The drinks were average, and the tacos were more lettuce than anything else (hard to find the meat and I do not remember seeing any cheese). The guacamole was a weird sauce (I would not classify it as actual real guacamole), and the chips weren't fresh or interesting.

We were late and staff clearly had their mind on other things than serving customers. We ordered chicken burrito but they forgot to put in the chicken. Not kidding. Mumbled apologies, unwrapped the whole thing, added the mandatory chicken and that was it. Probably better for vegetarians.
