I recently attended a private party for a good friend of mine at Sage Tapas and Wine Bar. I hadn't been there for a while so I want sure how things would work out - but it worked out great! The venue was cozy and beautifully decorated, the seating arrangments comfortable, the wine delicious and the food fantastic!

Food is nicely presented. Environment is warm and cozy. If you are a meat eater, its perfect with lots of interesting options. However, if you are a vegetarian and don't want salad, this is a difficult place to eat multiple tapas - which is the point. I ate alot of bread instead. I was hoping for some other options on... Wow! What a find in Nelson. We arrived for their last lunch of the season and we were so glad we stopped here. It is a quaint little wine bar. It wasn't busy so it was so relaxing. The lunch menu was small but great of quality. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the wine choices. Would love to... More

My wife and I can't stay away from this little gem when we visit Nelson. The perfect date, guaranteed. Their wine selection never disappoints, even when they run out of an old favorite and have to suggest a new one. The staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and charming. The manager, Adam, was especially helpful finding us the perfect wines (Hillside... More

Wonderful menu with imaginative tapas to choose among. Nice wines for pairings. We had no reservations but were able to enjoy a lovely meal on a Saturday night, one of the best of our week in Canada. Bravo to the chef!

We had a late lunch here and it was a good choice. We shared the fish tacos and the beet burger along with a couple of beers. The beet burger was so delicious with slices of roasted beets and goat cheese. We also had some gelato and it was also excellent. Can't wait to come here again.

The tapas are great but not Spanish style per say- which is what I think of when I think Tapas. The patio is one of the best in town and its a lovely place for an appetizer and a drink. Desserts are amazing too!

The tapas selection was wonderful and shared by four. The servers were gracious and friendly. We shared lots of great food, wine, and laughter. Thank you!

Had dinner here, which consisted of three of the tapas choices, shared. It was hard to decide since everything sounded so good. We were not disappointed! We were fortunate to get a table on the back patio, which overlooked the lake. Would absolutely go back for more!
