When the Crown Point Hotel opened it was the fanciest place in the region. The waiters wore bow ties, suit vests and slacks, and crisp white shirts. It was a special place to dine or meet for business with a New York feel. In this age of nostalgia (think Mad Men for a setting) it's time for an investor who... More

I can still have a good time at the bar on a (hopeful) busy weekend night. It should be sold to people with a fresh mindset for the whole building. It would take a lot of work but maybe one day.

A few days ago, I went in for a quiet beer during late night and one person rambled to me to "clean his money" of something and I told him to buzz off. There was no security there as well. Unfortunatley, the restaurant is close due to the owner passing away and you have to bring in your own lunch... More

The Best Western Hotel has corporate policy not to recommend this place, as do the security staff for Trail Silver City Days. But the mystery of it only adds to its allure. The staff, while not particularly friendly, are rather sad and honest. Try dropping $20, I guarantee it will be brought back to you by a waitress looking severely... More

The steak and prime rib dinner is really good and the price excellent. The décor is old and needs updating. Service was ok.

It's a dirty old dingy hotel. The smell of smoke lingers in the furniture and the carpeting. I do like the chandeliers and you can tell that at one point it was beautiful inside but the years of smoking inside have done irreversible damage. The food was okay but overpriced for the quality. I do like the salad bar

Stopped in and had the $2.95 breakfast special. It was hot, delicious, and cooked properly. Like a home-cooked breakfast. Yes the washrooms were dated, but reasonably clean. Servers were friendly & nice. The atmosphere pleasing and pleasant to mine eye. 9 out of 10 for me.

If you can judge a place by it's washrooms then this place should be condemned................I have been in cleaner and better smelling out houses! I could go on and on ...............best thing to do is simply avoid this place, horrible everything.............and I mean everything!
