Typical bistro you'd find in most towns.Friendly and efficient service, nothing outstanding about the food but nothing bad either. We had 2x chowder(which would benefit from more seafood but was tasty enough-5/10) , 2 x sandwiches,1x shared dessert and 1 x shared pot of tea.Total bill was a shade under $50 all in.

It's been awhile since I've been to this little cafe and although the food was very good it was a bit pricey for the average person. I think it's a great place for the higher income bracket customers in the area or tourists. I'm not saying the food was too expensive, it's simply the type of place that doesn't fit... More

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch just before they closed at 2:00. The paninis are excellent. I especially liked chicken, cranberry and goat cheese! The sandwiches come with a small Caesar salad or soup. I will be back!

After reading some of the other reviews, we stopped in for lunch on our way through Truro and were looking forward to a nice meal. Our server was friendly and the overall feel of the cafe was friendly. We both ordered the carrot ginger soup with a biscuit, but we were left underwhelmed by the soup. It was lacking in... More

My friend and I often meet for lunch in Truro and alternate the restaurants we go to. This time we chose Bistro 22 (not the first time we've been there). My friend was running late to I was offered coffee, which was a little burnt tasting - I drink my coffee black so this was a little off-putting. My friend... More

This is our go to place for special occasions in the evening and yummy lunches in the daytime. The chef is amazing and has great holiday menus.

This is not my first time eating here. It is my favourite spot when I am travelling through the area.

Bistro 22 is by far the best place to eat in Truro. It's a very small restaurant but seldom crowded. I've never actually been there for lunch but I hear that it's very popular, and with a different menu. I've been there only for dinners in the past and have never left anything less than completely satisfied and often pleasantly... More

We arrived late in the evening, but service was friendly and excellent. The menu is not extensive, but all of the dishes four of us ordered were very good. I had a fish dish that was excellent. Soups and salads were all good. We would go back if in Truro in the future.
