a couple of years ago, a friend and i stayed overnight at the Inn--- in room 105,reportedly a very haunted room.... as paranormal investigators, we asked specifically for that room...the building is old, and historical-- quaint furnishings add to the decor. The bar is accessible from both inside and out of the inn,,, they have a lovely outdoor patio. The... More

Oh my, how sad this lovely historical inn has become. The lack of upkeep to the exterior and grounds is obvious from the moment you pull in to park, and unfortunately continues after you enter the building. The poor housekeeping is shocking, the once beautiful wooden floors now faded, gouged and dirty. There is an unpleasant odour in the parlour,... More

The pub and patio were a favourite place. Once upon a time the pub hat great food and great atmosphere and the patio had wonderful gardens and a spectacular view. The inn was a little jewel with a lovely swimming pool nestled among the trees. What happened? The pub is closed and abandoned. The patio is overgrown with weeds and... More

Apparently the pub was getting ready to shut down. The server was disinterested and the food was barely average. We have been there in the past and the service and food had been great. We won't be returning.

I have now stayed here twice. It is a quaint place made up of several buildings in a culdisac. They are mostly old homes divided up into different rooms. Our first visit we stayed in the Mews. This building has the best views The Mews is a two story motel style building. It was ok but very tired. The rooms may be... More

Such a shame too see such a beautiful place so run down. It's been many years since I had dined at the falls, The place is very run down, the gardens were very unkept which should have been our 1st sign. After waiting what seemed like hrs. for a waiter, we were served warm flat soft drinks, when we mentioned... More

What a shame. Such a beautiful place with so much potential. My family and are visiting relatives in town and we came across this spot. Beautiful patio and atmosphere, that's about it. We were greeted promptly by our server and received our drinks in good timing. We placed our order for wings, steak sandwich, grill cheese and quesadillas. 30 minutes... More

Had dinner on Friday evening on the patio - such an amazing location, it is too bad the place is getting a very run down look about it. Asked for some lemon in my water, server forgot, when I asked again, she brought me two slices of lemon in a very dirty shot glass - eww! Food was just edible,... More

Reasonable prices, good food and service. The patio is pleasant. Seems new management is bringing the place back to its former standard as this used to be a go-to place in Bracebridge.
