The Poutine was cold and the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My club sandwich was not even toasted properly.

We were told that Le Roy Jucep serves the best Poutine in Quebec! Well, not that good. My poutine, which was 'a la bacon', was sweet!!! I didn't like it at all and I have to tell that I am a huge Poutine-lover. By the way, the waiter suggested we try the orange juice which was 'the best' as he... More

Love the old style diner atmosphere, great for kids. Nothing fancy but just good food. Curds are fresh and gravy is tasty. Highly recommend

We stopped here specifically for the poutine and were not disappointed. Delicious and satisfying. Glad we were able to find the original location of poutine. Worth the stop. The service was very friendly even though we had a language barrier. Fantastic!

This is the original poutine inventors place! They use the original recipe from when poutine was invented & it's delicious! They use hand cut fries and yuk can have the original recipe or can have variations with various toppings added. They have memorabilia in pictures hung on the wall and the story of how poutine was invented printed on the... More

Stopped here a day ago specifically to have the poutine. I had a cheeseburger and the classic poutine. The burger was pretty good as was the price. The poutine was pretty damn tasty. The fries held up well to the gravy and the cheese curd was very good....generous sized pillowy and squeaky (in my opinion... the way a cheese curd... More

Harveys' was better ! Just down the road ... The somewhat famous poutine was not even close to being great ! The place is a famous name with little worthiness !

This is the birth place of Poutine (according to them) but the neighboring town of Victoriaville also claimed they invented poutine. Had a poutine with pepperoni, mushroom anf green peppers. Excellent and just the right size. They must have 50 different types of poutine on the menu I will eventually will try them all!

Sauce is somewhat sweet which is different than other places. Service was friendly and good except they mostly only speak French so some translation may be required. Some say that this restaurant was the inventor or poutine / "putin".
