Their coffee is sooooo good. Pastries and dessert are to die for. Sandwiches are incredibly good. Price is a bit high but totaly worth it. Been there many times and I will continue going. Great patio!

Thank you, Nick for the excellent praise! We welcome you anytime. Regarding our prices, all of our ingredients are of the highest quality and every item is handmade. We hope this helps to explain the higher price as compared to other providers in the Bow Valley :) More

Couple of us stopped in for a bite around noon and tried the quiche and croque croissant. Both were very good! Tried a couple desserts and again, excellent. There is a long line of people but it moves quickly. You can sit and eat or buy amazing things to go like baguettes, pastries and desserts. Great to take home, especially... More

Wonderful French bakery- great food and great service. Food is fresh and worth the price! Go early or you may miss out on some of the delightful pastries and treats they have to offer.

Merci Manuela! You're correct - come early so as not to miss out. We also accept pre-orders, three days in advance for pickup. So that too could always help to ensure you get what you like. Hope to see you again soon! More

We spent a week in Canmore recently, and were delighted to find Le fournil our first morning. Pastries rival anything you will find in France, coffee carefully prepared and served, and the decor is understated and beautiful. Anxious to return on the next visit.

I really LOVE macaroons, and theirs were so good! I haven't eaten in the cafe itself but I will definitely be going back to get some more of those macaroons, and try some of their delicious delights!

Fantastic YouMy1982. One important detail to note, they are called macarons (with just one "o"). Very different from the English macaroon ;) Come see us again soon, we change up the flavours to keep things interesting. More

Excellent French patisserie and boulangerie! One of the few bakeries that use real butter in their pastries. A welcome addition to Canmore. We live in Canmore and go there regularly. Reminds me of my days as a student in Paris!

Lovely French bakery, ideal for lunch or a tea/coffee with perfect pastries. We had croque monsieur which was delicious, served with either salad or fresh fruit.

It was hard to choose from such a beautiful array of options. She had a lovely raspberry pastry. He had a basil and tomato pesto pastry and she tasted it and wished she could come back and order it the next day, but they were closed on Sunday. They had excellent espresso.

Best French pastries and lunch fair in the valley. If you like Duchess in Edmonton, you will enjoy Le fournil. Not as extensive a selection, but the quality is just about the same level. Not cheap, but very good.

Those of us Frenchies who crave the taste from home can reliably walk into Le Fournil and feel that we're back in the old country. The baked good are appropriately crunchy and satisfying: buttery, flavourful, in one word: real. Excellent work!
