We walked into Ebisu after being here many years ago. The service was exceptional & very rarely do you get this high quality service! High class waiter - Noah. The food was devine & great to share. Fabulous size meals - pork belly & chicken beautiful.

Best japanese I had in Auckland. It is not common to find a place that combines an inventive space with an inventive (and delicious) cuisine. With Ebisu, you will find the perfect balance of tradition and modernity in both the food and the venue. You will have the choice between traditional or modern sushis, australian wines or japanese whiskeys, and... More

I dined here while I was on a business trip. I am a lover of anything pure and natural, crunchy veges and seafood, hence my choice to go for Japanese. I was on my own and perhaps therefore was given a table in the very dark back of the restaurant. There wasn't a big crowd so the rest of the... More

I visited with colleagues for our leadership team Christmas celebration. We ordered the banquet. Every dish arrived beautifully presented and it was all delicious! And the courses kept coming! A thoroughly enjoyable evening and I'd love to go back.

Nice, high quality sushi and sides in an eclectic semi-industrial space. Service was excellent. Only jarring note - the DJ and loud modern music were totally out of place, and conversation became a little difficult. The special Bluff oysters were exceptionally good. Good value for the money.

Fantastic menu and all delicious. Staff attentive but not interfering. Would certainly go again. Oysters are a must.

A great meal amidst a lively, noisy crowd. Japanese-influenced small and large plates. Very good quality, good service, priced fairly for the quality of the cuisine and the upscale but not at all fussy atmosphere.
