The fish in the Fish and Chips was fresh, the batter crunchy and both the fish and the chips (fries) arrived piping hot. The local craft beer was cold and the atmosphere welcoming and friendly. This little place at the top of the high street was a perfect spot for lunch after a visit to the top of the mountain.

We visited here for breakfast on the recommendation of our guest house and it was excellent. The choice of breakfast dishes was extensive and varied, and presented beautifully when it arrived. The coffee was tasty and I love the NZ habit of bringing a glass of water as soon as you sit down. We went every morning of our stay in Devonport.

Corelli’s is the BEST coffee in town....you must see the art work in a coffee cup by the amazing barista, Ufuk Solak. Coffee presented with NZ Ferns and Valentines’s Day hearts is really artistic....oh and fabulous! Wonderful welcome by Deana and service from Andy. Morning coffee, scones, breakfast, lunch or afternoon hot chocolate or iced tea, Corelli’s has something for everyone. (Libations too) Throughout the years we have been coming to Devonport, it’s always a sweet visit.

Terrible service. The milkshake was very thin; when I called the waiter over and asked for a milkshake with ice cream I was told it had 2 scoops. They must’ve been small scoops because they were not detectable. I haven’t had a runny milkshake since the 90s and have travelled the world. Very poor that I wasn’t offered a change of drink and was charged for the milkshake.

We had lunch here today, 1st January 2030. No drop down for Jan 2020. Waited over an hour for food. First time we queried the wait we were told ours was on its way. After another 10(!) diners got their food we asked again. One member of staff said it was because the chef did easy orders first! We had the special which was asparagus and poached egg and an omelette- not a difficult order. Upshot was our order hadn’t gone in and when they realised that we still did not become a priority. Food was very good though. It was our last day after 3 weeks in NZ and only time we had poor service during our trip.

sorry but we have been here twice and both times didn't enjoyed neither our coffees or food. I ordered the creamy mushrooms and a soy Flat white and couldn't enjoy the coffee nor the creamy mushrooms (my husband enjoyed my bacon tho)but the dish had way to much garnish that took away from any other flavours. Service was friendly enough but took a while for coffee and food to arrived. There place also doesn't look clean at all :(

We were recommended to eat at this place by a local shop owner and were so please to take their advice. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips, sitting outside in the sunshine. There is a bit of an incline on the outside sitting area, but no problem. We had hoped to sample one of the lovely cakes, but sadly no room after our main course. Great doffee and service.

Having returned to the town for the first time in over 5 years the place was just as we left it, slightly spruced up but still excellent food.
No need to book, we went mid week and enjoyed a steak sandwich which was more than enough and also a bowl of beef nachos.
The place was steady, singles, couples, families and friends and all came and went.
Staff friendly and not pushy and would definitely return but hope to do so in less than 5 years time. A must stopping point when in Devonport.
Thank you to the management for retaining the high standards and good quality food.
It is licensed if needed.

We had Fish & Chips, and a Salmon Poke, both of which were very good. The restaurant itself was not quite so good. The service was rather lackadaisical, the seating (outside) rather uncomfortable, and we were not entirely sure how clean the place was (certainly the way tables were wiped down between customers left something to be desired).

Took a group of 18 from Half Moon Bay on a Gold Card Adventure to Devonport. Made a phone booking in advance at Corelli's.
We all had a great lunch. We were made very welcome, and everything was handled quickly and easily. The meals were outstanding.
I had the Corelli's Breakfast. It was a well presented plate, and the contents were just excellent. Other dishes served were very attractively served, and well received by our group members.
A great experience, and highly recommend this fine establishment.

Excellent breakfast at this cute cafe. Very kind server. Kids loved the French toast and the eggs Benedict and smashed avocado toast were delicious. The hot chocolate was also very good. Quick service for a big group. Highly recommend!

We went there for lunch because the reviews were quite good. The food was tasty BUT it took almost 1 hour for the dishes to come out ! It was on 27th December so totally understandable that the cafe might have been running with reduced staff. However, we should have been informed of the delay when the staff took our order, but we were not informed and no staff came to our table to keep us informed on our order … almost 1 hour is quite a lot for a cafe place. I would have given happily more stars if the staff had been more upfront with us. Other tables were as well a bit upset about the long wait and some « regular » customers mentioned a change of management so it might be the reason.

We visited Devonport for day and stopped at Corelli’s for lunch. The waitstaff is good and has a sense of humor. The beer was cold, and my husband said his ham and cheese was very good. I had the bang bang bowl which has a little bit of burn going on but not too much. I tried it with chicken which was a bit dry. With the sauce and veggies, it was still good.

Fabulous food in Davenport! A local told us Corelli’s had the best food in Davenport and she was right - The salad with bang bang dressing was superb & my son’s pasta with meat sauce terrific. The service was friendly, helpful and quick. We had a wonderful lunch there and it was well worth the walk up the hill.

I chose this cafe based on a quick look at reviews...this is still a great choice in Devonport. The wait staff were friendly and our lunch items were excellent (a delicious chicken burger & fries for me and my mate said his eggs benedict was right on point). My mate also had a cake item along with a smoothie and everything was great. Some reviews mentioned delays with getting food but we didn't experience that although we got in a bit before midday to beat the lunch rush.
