Stopped here on a walk around Hook Norton. Was towards the end of the cooking period at 1430 but food was good and came quickly. Very pleasant bar staff. Would definitely stop again.

Came here for lunch after our tour of the brewery unfortunately most of the staff were not working so had a limited menu but the food they did have was great and quite cheap! The service was good and the location was wonderful.

The interior has plenty of charm, and is cosy and friendly. We were lucky enough to arrive when the beer was being delivered in the traditional way on horse and cart. Its great to see that some old traditions are still kept going. There is of course a wide range of beer, and also traditional pub food. Service was prompt... More

The pub sits in the Western extreme of Hook Norton next to a small green and countryside all around. Good outdoor seating, excellent Hooky beers, TV for Sport, good bit of banter perfect. Oh and Hook Norton Brewery is 5 mins walk away worth a visit beforehand. A pleasant 5 minute walk up into the Village proper is the Sun... More

It would be so easy for this pub to become part of the brewery tourist attraction but it retains its own character as a village pub. A good pint (of HNB's Sweet Chariot, naturally!) after our brewery tour, before setting off for home

Lovely 18th century pub with clean and comfortable rooms for overnight stays. Hearty breakfast and a good evening menu. Wide range of real ales served by professional staff with a broad smile! Lovely log fire in the bar. One of the best that we have stayed at, in this price range.

The Pear Tree Inn sits at the entrance to Brewery Lane. Just a few hundred yards up this lane you'll find the world famous, family run Hook Norton Brewery along with its shop, visitor centre and museum. The Pear Tree is of course the Hook Norton Brewery tap and offers the full range of Hooky Beers. We serve food Tuesday to Saturday Midday to 7pm, Sunday and Monday till 2.30Pm. We have three delightful on-suite letting rooms and a large car park and garden. We have a quiz on Sunday starting at 8.30Pm, all welcome. Lastly the pub is open for drinks all day, everyday, so no excuse, we'll see you soon.
