We stayed for 2 nights in one of the Glamping Yurts. We are a family of 5. The kids just loved it. Beautiful Yurt. Spotless shower and toilet facilities. Fire pit, stove, bbq with wood provided. Communal kitchen, games room and play area. The owners...were just lovely and so helpful. They came round to make sure everything was ok and to have a chat. So much to do in the Area. The Cairns themselves are about 20 mins walk away up the hill. Amazing place to see 18 counties from one spot. Breathtaking views. Loads in the area for kids. Molly Moo's farm was a big hit. Dun na Sí park was great too. We also did the Big Dig at Belvedere House in Mullingar with the School of Irish Archeology. We didn't get a chance to try the cafe as it was closed by the time we got back each day but we heard great reports. Overall a fantastic place. Lovely atmosphere. Great for families. We were sad to leave! Thanks to all at Loughcrew! We will be back! :)More

Myself and my partner stayed two nights here in a yurt. We absolutely loved it, everything from the lovely helpful staff to the cosy, beautifully decorated yurt with a very comfortable bed.We completely chilled out. The toilet areas were always spotless and the coffee and...cakes were delicious as was the icecream. Beautiful morning sunrises up on the hill, and starry moonlight nights. We can't wait to return.More

We stayed 2 nights in July , had a nice walk up to the chairs with lovely 360 views for miles while up there . Owners of site very friendly and helpful and never too far away if anything is needed . Looks like a...nice Glamping area too with yurts but we didn’t go inside that part . Playground for smaller kids and a lovely coffee shop on site .More

We really enjoyed our three night stay in a yurt in Loughcrew. Our seven year old loved the yurt, the playground and having a bbq right outside the front door. The yurt is very clean and warm, firewood is provided, I would recommend bringing some...charcoal for the bbq. Sarah and Niall were very welcoming and were very accommodating when I asked about charging our electric car - not needed in the end as there is a fast charging point in Kells - about 20km away. On a rainy day the games room was great. The walk up to Cairn T is wonderful, the views are spectacular on a clear day. The toilets and showers are very clean, are checked regularly and there is plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere and reminders to maintain social distancing. The cafe was lovely with delicious ice cream and great staff!More

Stayed here one night in a campervan. Staff friendly. Lovely clean site and there is a large kitchen area which you can use and a games room with pool table. Play area for children also. The area is so peaceful and quiet and the walks...are lovely in the area with plenty to do locally. We visited in March when it was quiet and really enjoyed the peaceful vibe. There is also a family thatched cottage which the Grandfather lived in, which had been preserved and was really authentic. I had to knock on the site owners door later which you don't like to do however she was friendly and helped out. Wifi only in communal area. Great stay and would recommend this siteMore

Stopped off for a coffee, ended up having a light snack also, loaded bake potato. The portion was substantial more like a full meal, very reasonably priced considering this place has a captive audience. Staff are very efficient but also well informed about the area.

We weren't quite sure of what to expect. Being a nice day, if a bit windy, the climb up to the tombs was enjoyable. Unfortunately the large tomb was closed for conservation reasons but the views all around were stunning.

Hi Nancy, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The Irish Tea and coffee we serve is by Bewleys. I’m glad you enjoyed your lunch with us and got to experience the beauty of Loughcrew! Kind Regards, Sarah.
