We had 2 meals at the Ship during our stay in Noss Mayo. The first was for Sunday lunch, when we enjoyed the roast beef, and the second during the week when we ate a really good steak. The staff are very friendly and welcoming,...with most of the Covid measures in place ( we weren't offered track and trace and were ushered by the app QR to our table then promptly forgot on both occasions). There is a lot of outdoor seating offering stunning views of the estuary. A must visit pub, but difficult to get to by car, but not impossible.More

1. Location - beautiful, a hidden gem. 2. Venue - (outside) welcoming and interesting. (inside) homely, tasteful decor, clean. Also the restroom was spotless (generally a good sign IMHO) (Well done owners/ staff) Food - ( limited menu under the present conditions) but by what...we ordered (full 3 course meal) and also what we saw delivered to others ? absolutely fantastic ! (well done chefs) Value for money - absolutely yes (good work chefs/accountant) Staff - genuinely friendly and efficient. (most probably the jewel in the crown for continued high rated revues) well done front and backroom staff ! Recommended - yesMore

We booked the beautiful garden room to celebrate a 50th Birthday with family. I had great communication with Lisa in advance to keep up to date with the latest COVID advice. The ambiance of the garden room was wonderful, lovely sea shells and was so...chic - absolutely loved it. The service and food was great, everyone enjoyed the food. We felt very well looked after, an evening to remember! Thank youMore

If any eating establishment needs inspiration on how to meet their customers needs during these Covid times, look no further than the Ship Inn. Great atmosphere, superb service, extensive menu and great location. Perfection on every level.

Excellent Sunday roast. The waitress kindly found us a window seat even though we hadn’t booked. Good sized portion, very tasty, meat cooked well, the vegetarian Sunday roast was also excellent. Looking forward to becoming regulars!

We arrived for our 18:00 booking for the 6 of us, were seated immediately by Charlie. Even though the restaurant was busy nothing seemed like too much hassle for the staff. Drinks and various starters came very quickly, Trio of fish, Seared scallops and Portabella...mushroom were enjoyed by my party. Second drinks came very quickly after being ordered, lovely atmosphere outside sat by the river. My Duck dish was fantastic, not overcooked which some restaurants fail to do, also the dish wasn't swimming in sauce. Lovely balance to the meal. No complaints from anyone else in my party either, all enjoyed their mains and desserts. We will return in the near future, lovely food and atmosphere. Staff were all attentive too.More
