Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been coming here to meet friends for meals for years. Every visit we loved to see the improvements and progress, has always been a great value meal. Today was not so great. We were met by a young person, and guided to out...tables, zero greeting, my wife commented she thought he grunted, but hey good staff hard to find. Twice as hard to meet and greet people, maybe he can try something like "hello", start at basic. Menu has changed and prices significantly gone up, now one of the most expensive meals around Dayboro, $29.00 for a chicken schnitzel. Breakfast menu also not cheap, $25 for bacon and eggs and a coffee. Bacon was cold, seems like pre cooked and kept warm.....wife said meal was disappointing, and for the price not good value. At a guess we have been here 40 plus times, we will never go back. Plenty of other better value option that do not required 30 minute drive up windy road full of cyclists.More

Brilliant view and worth it for that. Interesting motor memorabilia but a bit tired, as were the staff. Burgers are just ok but a very limited choice.

We arrived in the area on a Sunday afternoon and patiently waited until the Wednesday (closed Monday and Tuesday) to pop into this little gem. It was definitely worth the wait! The coffee was delicious, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their chips and toasted sandwiches and...what can you say about the backdrop - breathtaking! Definitely recommend stopping here for your next pit stop!More

Visited early Sunday morning, on my bike with my wife, on our way to Woodford and beyond. Both of us ordered scrambled eggs and coffee. Wife said she thought her scrambled eggs were not cooked properly, mine were also a bit 'raw'. The coffee was...very good. The music playing was loud 'doof doof' dance music that must have been chosen by the teenagers who were working there. Looking around I would guess that all the customers in the place, when we were there, were at least 40 to 60 years of age, with the majority on motorbikes - you think they want to listen to that sort of music at 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning whilst having breakfast. Don't let the teenagers pick the music. Please play appropriate music for your clientele. Felt like we were getting the 'Guantanamo experience'.More

The view was destroyed by the quality of the food. I didn’t know you could ruin a pot of tea, but it happened. It’s such a wonderful location and the restaurant itself is well themed, it’s a real pity when there is no passion for...the product...More

Pit Stop is a regular haunt for motorcyclists and car enthusiasts, we well as day trippers wanting an eating stop over. The views are terrific on a clear day and the sheer amount of motoring and cycling things on show make for a good look...see. We were there for lunch and hoed into their mexican chicken burgers with fries and a filo pastry with beef and mushroom filling. They have a kid's menu and also serve alcohol to adults. They have a breakfast menu as well as sandwiches to chose from, along with tea, coffee and cakes. Take the time to for your pit stop!More
