This place is kind of hidden in a side strip mall but the food and prices are amazing this is going to be my go to Mexican food spot in Tahoe from now on.

We had vegetarian nachos and lengua tacos. Oh so yummy!! The tacos were so tender and the corn tortillas steamed and delicious! The nachos had amazing beans, salsa, and guacamole. Did I mention the prices are amazing. 5 dollars for the nachos and 1.50 for the tacos!!

We looked up TripAdvisor for this place, place in nice and cozy, mostly locals go there, small place like family run business, they accept cash ONLY, service was good and workers wear very kind, food was ok if you want a quick bite of Mexican food, maybe more flavor in their food would make this place much better, again this... We were searching for a Mexican Restaurant. Jalisco's Grill serves authentic Tacos, Tamales, Tostadas and the like. They can add more heat if so desired. English and Spanish are spoken throughout the restaurant. If we return to South Lake Tahoe, we'll stop by Jalisco's Grill again. Note: Don't confuse Jalisco's Grill with Jalisco's Taqueria, they're not the same.

We loved this little Mexican restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. There are so many dining options here, making a decision about where to eat can be overwhelming! Basedon other reviews, we decided to give Jalisco Grill a try. Order at the counter, and your food is delivered to your table. Quality ingredients, everything tasted great. Salsa bar was a bonus!... We were really excited to eat here based on the reviews but were disappointed in the lack of flavor that came with the dishes we ordered. The place is a 'hole in the wall' that accepts CASH ONLY FYI which is always a good sign to us. Ordered tacos- chicken, asada, green chile pork, but all were lacking that spice... More

I've only had takeout from here so far so this review doesn't give a full picture. However, all the diners I saw while waiting several different times for my orders seemed well satisfied. Jalisco has good tasting offering. They seem to be honest Mexican recipes and not Americanized knock-offs. Both the carnitas and chicken tacos were good and the pork... More

It came time to eat and the friend with me said he loved Mexican food. It is not generally my first choice, but if I was a local this simple restaurant would take a high place on my favorites list.. We had trouble finding Jalisco, but the local information center is just across the street and they said we had... More

This place is away from Heavenly Village, just a short drive down the road on the California side of Tahoe. Hard to find even with GPS, as it's in the back of a strip center off the street, but worth the effort. We had an excellent meal with lots of vegetarian choices (not always really vegetarian in many Mexican places),... More
