Owned by a friend of a friend. We’re advised to try the seafood ravioli, octopus carpaccio and spaghetti vongole/ clams. The waiter told us none of the above were available, at which point the owner came past, so we chatted with him and expressed our disappointment that the best dishes were out of stock. He shook his head and pressed his staff to make sure they were indeed unavailable, however turned out that everything was available!!!! Apparently my friend had similar problem the night before, and that was with the owner even ordering. As such, staff need to be trained a bit more. Other than that, wow the food!! For this unassuming spot in a side street, positioned under a huge tree. Fantastic. Homemade seafood stuffed ravioli, vongole pasta, all were superb. Owner even recommended the fried small fish which was off the menu. Excellent. The best place for your Italian fix in Tofo. Will definitely return.

Menu with great variety

The menu has so many different dishes that it is difficult to choose. The food is great, and especially the octopus salad, the octopus bruschetta and the home made pasta are recommendable. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We came here to have both lunch and dinner many times during our stay at Tofo Beach.

Great Pizza in East Africa

Only a few hours in Tofo and not knowing where to eat, we stumbled on this restaurant. The staff were welcoming, the food was great and the facilities clean. There was a relaxed atmosphere and classic unplugged rock by Dylan/Stones/Zep/Nirvana etc. playing quietly in the background. The pizza was freshly cooked and tasty, the Serrano ham and cheese toppings flavoursome. The staff were really attentive and served with a smile. Recommended.

Average food at above average pricing

I ate lunch here with my son yestarday. We each had a pasta (with the supposedly freshly made tagliatelle for additional M50 each) - mine the mixed seafood and his a basic pesto. The shrimps were all mushy and other than a little octopus, the balance of sauce was a pasty indistinguishable mix. Flavour ok but hardly the fresh seafood that the waiter promised. The homemade pasta didn’t feel like it either. I asked for some Parmesan and used 2 teaspoonfuls - and then found a M60 charge on the bill for it!! Really??? The only real highlight was the Mojito. The service was friendly and efficient (other than inaccurately portraying the seafood as very fresh!!). Total price including tip Mt2200!! A beer, a mojito and 2 pastas. I would not recommend I am afraid.

The additional charge for Parmesan in spite being showed on the menu should have been communicated upfront, and we're sorry for the oversight. Worth a visit

We ordered three large pizzas and my boys really enjoyed them. The service was great as we received our food and drinks in good time and the waiter was extremely polite. That being said, I probably would only go once during our stay.

White sand, clear warm water, coconuts, scuba diving..what do you want more? PIZZA!!! That's What you want! And many other delicious dishes mixing italian cuisine and local dishes from Inhambane region. The best way to celebrate a great day of discoveries @ the ocean.

Delicious Italian food

Good restaurant with very well cooked Italian food, located very close to the Tofo Scuba. We ordered some ravioli with pumpkin and cheese that were delicious. The spinach ravioli was also good as was the vegetable pizza. The only dish that was average was the spaghetti with pesto. The service was friendly and it didn't take long to serve the dishes. The quality-price was quite good, it cost us about 760 meticais (€11) per person. The only drawback we can say is that there was no Wi-Fi, but the restaurant is nice and the food is very delicious. Highly recommended. Visited in January 2023

Mandatory stop in Tofo

Great Peter! He managed to bring real Italian cuisine to Tofo. We really appreciated his cuisine, especially the wood-fired pizza and the Sicilian desserts (like him anyway) with a Mozambican touch. Quick service which is not to be underestimated here. We don't usually go to Italian restaurants abroad but it's worth it. Excellent choice of wines and cocktails. Very pleasant to exchange a few words with Pietro about Mozambique from an Italian's point of view. See you soon! Giulia and Matteo

Really great service and kind people work there. The homemade pasta was amazing. The barracuda and feta pasta was super flavorful. The lobster pasta was a little more bland but still good. The profiterole with ice cream and passion fruit sauce for dessert was the star of the show. Incredible!

Probably the best food and service in Tofo

The best restaurant in Tofo with a service to match. The chicken schnitzel is one of the best I have ever tasted. Unlike other places in Tofo this place not only does amazing food but the staff are on it. You'll never get cold food in this place.

Nice food

We had the octopus broscetta very nice I would recommend it. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious. For a change we picked zambezian chicken instead of fish. It was really nice and a break from the calamari.(smiles). Finish with the binan for dessert. Loved the place.

Food, music and friendliness

Usually during our travels we don't go to Italian restaurants but what u want struck us at first glance. And the first impression was right. Excellent Italian and local cuisine. Very friendly staff. Quick service, a plus in Mozambique. And then there is Pietro. Truly exquisite person and excellent guitarist. Thursdays are always live in Mozambique. We will be back.

Coming after 5 years and the quality of the food is still top quality..Can’t be just one visit when i am in tofo..had eaten there like 4 days..both of my meal…you get everything here as that’s the reason it is named “ What you Want”…Dint had to go out somewhere Else to try Mozambican appetite wonders and last but not the list..heavenly Italian food in Tofo..Inhambane, Mozambique.
