In our 5 days in Tofo, Casa de Comer was the best dinner we had. Great service, gorgeous fish cooked perfectly, a lovely atmosphere and an extremely hospitable owner made this meal a great one!!

There is good attention to the presentation of the food and the seafood and fish dishes are excellent. However, the prawn curry I had was, although carefully prepared with fresh ingredients, rather bland and ultimately disappointing.
During our stay in Tofo we enjoy casa de comer Twice. The food we tried (lobsters, prawn curry, among others) was really tasty and fresh. Sometimes bothered with electricity cuts -which happen often here and overall in Mozambique, sometimes some ingredient might be finished but what ever is available, lobster, crabs, shrimps - beef if so, desserts - great cooking. The food here was very good, service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long. The seats were a bit uncomfortable, could do with an extra cushion on seats, I got one from the bench seating which made it much better. Would recommend this place.
The restaurant is just off the main market area and is nicely decorated with carvings and cushioned areas. The food was excellent and all tasted very fresh and flavoursome. We ended up having 3 courses as it all looked so nice! The prawn curry and the chocolate mousse were particularly delicious. Very cosy restaurant with great, friendly service. Recommended.
Great fish balls (for my little one!) and excellent spaghetti bolognese and outstanding 'chocolate explosion'... the chef seemed to know what s/he was doing and the gentleman serving was hospitality personified...
