The service here is was very good. But the food is way overpriced and bland. Everything tastes like it was from a can. It can use a deep cleaning as well.

We tried Rancho Viejo for our weekly "date night". I hadn't been here for years, and it wasn't as good as I had remembered. The food was bland, and both of our orders came out wrong. Granted, it was a Saturday Night and very busy...but... One good thing was that our server was very friendly.

The food was good..nice, fresh and hot. Server delivered tacos and fresh salsa immediately after we arrived. Fajitas filled with meat, and perfectly sauted vegies. Tortillas were fresh and warm. All in all a good meal...large servings and worth the money.

The food is good, not the best but good. The best thing about this place is that the food is very consistent.

It strikes me as odd just how many Mexican restaurants in the area serve beans that taste like Crisco and cheap cheese. Rancho Viejo bucks that trend. The rest of me meal was mild, as tailored to the public of this area. However, it was fresh and well cooked. My friends and I will be back.

I have traveled a ton in the pacific northwest but nothing will ever beat rancho viejos food. Truly authentic everything is amazing. Anytime I am driving through spokane I have to stop. The guacamole is really amazing clearing freshly made and made with real avocados. The tamales are perfect as well. I have been to mexico several times and tried... More

Having being in many mexican restaurants all over Washington state, I would have to say this one is overpriced and mediocre Mexican fare at best. Considering the many very excellent Mexican eateries in Spokane and area, I cannot see how this one could be anyone's favourite, as in the reviews...but then some people think McDonalds is good food I guess.

What a wonderful restaurant. Great Mexican atmosphere and wonderful knowledgable staff. The blackberry margarita was to die for, as was the coronarita! The food - oh my, the food - delicious and hot and we left full to bursting. If you find yourself in the Spokane valley craving great Mexican food, you will not be disappointed by a visit to... Service was slow. Food was good. The menu is quite extensive and complete so you shouldn't have any trouble finding something good. The staff isn't bad, they just seem as if they would be fine serving customers or not.
