Cabramatta is only an hour train ride out of Sydney and if you are craving Vietnamese food it is definitely worth a visit. With research, we were told to try Tan Viet Noodle House for crispy chicken and glad we did. Do get there early as the queues will get long but they do move fast. We tried the crispy skinned chicken with dry flat egg noodles and the best pork chops you will ever try which I hate to say was better than the chicken. We also tried a couple of drinks with the Che Trai Cay more of a dessert than a drink and well worth trying. This restaurant is definitely worth trying on your first visit to Cabramatta and looking forward to trying more on our next visits.

What a place , having heard that this was the place to come to eat Vietnamese food !! Just outside central Sydney an hour away in Cabramatta ! Tan Viet was brilliant and the queues to get into here proved it ! Try the famous crispy chicken and the pork chops ! You won’t be disappointed!!

The herbal duck noodle soup, crispy chicken tomato rice and goat curry with bread roll`s really good. Clean Covid safe sitting and especially clean toilet too.
But if you're after local Vietnamese street food, this place does not serve the No 1 favourite, beef pho

We went on a Sunday for lunch, waited about 20min for a table.
Not an overly big menu, prices are a little on the higher side.
Standard quality of service, not much personality from the staff.
Food comes in generous portions and relatively quickly.

Friendly nice atmosphere, lovely crispy chicken. Pho chicken if you ask. Even some brief Christmas carols! Very nice.

We had herbal duck noodles brimming with savory herbs. Then the tomato rice with crispy chicken so crunchy you can eat the bone. Then mixed noodles with liver. Yummy Vietnam’s flavors.

Keep coming back here every time I am in Cabramatta. I don’t think I have ordered anything that I do not like. Definitely a very good Vietnamese restaurant.

Had heard about this place from a number of different people, and have to say was not disappointed. Even though it was very busy we were quickly seated and then served. The Crispy Chicken (Ga Da Don) was just that, super crispy and very flavour some. The broth that it came with was equally as good.
Pro tip, if you're planning on visiting Cabramatta catch the train. It stops at the bottomof John street so you just wander up the road. Much easier than trying to find a car park.

The restaurant appeared full but we were lucky to get a table for 4 immediately. We had the Fried Chicken 3 ways- with dry noodles, tomato rice and noodle soup plus a Hainan Chicken Rice. Delicious and at $15 each serve, very reasonable. Excellent service also.

Curry was a disappointment, surprise to find pork in a goat curry. The bread was probably the better part of the dushdish.Everyone else see
