Awesome local spot near the wharf with a laid back vibe. Everyone is super nice and there are about 10 beers on tap with funky names brewed right there that are all delicious.

It was a lovely sunny day to stop for a beer!! The place is really nice !!! Unfortunately the staff is not at that image...... As we can finally read on most of the comments from the Tripadvisor community, the lady we had for service...More
We met friends for a beer with fish and chips. Great location, good range of drinks and really good that eating the tasty fish and chips from the nearby takeaway is welcomed. Jumping off the wharf is an entertaining optional extra that we resisted this...More
If you're looking to try a good variety of beers, then it's definitely worth stopping by the Golden Bear. The venue is a little soulless, which could be easily rectified - they have a great space and location. The staff were a little hit and...More

Craft brewery of excellent standard. You can order tapas, or any other meal from the surrounding restaurants on the wharf. the staff is efficient and friendly, the place hums with locals and fun. Live music is an extra bonus over weekends, and a total treat!
Thoroughly enjoyed a selecton of local beers made on the premises. Unfortunately the lady behind the bar was lacking a bit of bonhomie but that was more than made up for by the beverages.
We stopped to have lunch and a drink. First time at a Brewing company, Beer was lovely, but staff a bit disappointing, maybe went on a bad day. Will try again next time in Mapua. Lovely area for relaxing.
