Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely venue in an old Queenslander with inside & outside dining. I had Eggs Benedict with salmon, eggs were perfect. Friendly staff and quick service. I was also able to have my furbaby with me. Very enjoyable, I will definitely return.

We were staying in the area and stumbled across this charming, rustic Cafe, set in an old Queenslander. Great breakfast, lots of choice, we had the potato rosti, with spinach, cherry tomatoes and pesto. Delicious. It was wet the day we went, so we sat...on the verandah, they also have some Bali huts out the back.More

Change of ownership..Friendly staff but the food was terrible. I got eggs benedict on potato rosti. The salmon was old and smelt fishy and there was no potato rosti, but was in fact a frozen reheated (still cold) pattie of some sort

Great little cafe in a lovely little town. Meals and drinks selection is fantastic. Hot drinks I’ve not seen anywhere else. The same goes for juice varieties, wonderful. Meals are very fresh and healthy, lovely presentation and pricing is good too. We’ve had several visits...here and will definitely be going back.More

As a group we all ordered differing dishes and drinks. It is order at the counter and everything is very eco friendly. The drinks arrived and were declared delicious. An iced coffee and two different smoothies. The food arrived. Plentiful, flavours well balanced. There was...something on the menu to cater for everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements. Each dish was delicious. The kids menu is really good and diverse. Interesting note is the sign at the counter which says the counter area is a phone black spot 🙂 The menu leans more toward Vegan and vegetarian dishes but has some excellent choices with meat. Will be going back!More

A charming cafe in a lovely old Queenslander in a lovely old historical town. This would be enough to entice you but the food, described by some as quaint, is both healthy and tasty. Good for vegetarians, vegans and those with everyday allergies like wheat...and dairy. Loved the acai flow pancake made from buckwheat and lashings of fruits and granola. Enjoyable although the buckwheat pancake became cloying and bland if you ate too much.More

One of the quaintest cafes we’ve been to in Queensland with good food to! Very good range for vegetarians and vegans and very convenient if you’ve just been at Wildlife HQ as only about 5 minutes away. A gem.

Hi there, yes there is wheelchair access to the front garden seating area. There’s also access to the back seating area, though the driveway down to this is a little sloped).
