Lovely pub with great food & a warm welcome! Had a really nice meal this evening so we quickly decided to go back with our friends next week. A cool chillaxed atmosphere has been created and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Found this gem on Trip Advisor. Visited with friends who were on holiday. The pub looks very small from the outside, but is like a Tardis!!! We booked a table, which is advisable as this is a very busy pub/restaurant. I was particularly impressed by...More

Description
The Molesworth Arms re-open for business in Dec 2015 after been shut up for 2 years! Our simple aim & ethos was to run a friendly village pub that consistently serves good food, local ales/ciders, quality wines in a comfortable & relaxing environment. We build close ties with our supplies & help generate business within the local economy. Our meat & fish are sourced from local suppliers & we now have a organic poly tunnel where we grow as much of our own fruit, vegetables & herbs. All our dishes are prepared & made from scratch in our kitchen by our Head Chef Mark who has a passion for interesting, but un-complicated, country style cooking. We have our own on-site smokery & during the summer months we open up our outdoor kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven serving delicious handmade pizzas & a BBQ to fire up on special occasions. We are a husband & wife team employing local full-time & part-time staff; we all enjoy working together & we hope that you enjoy your time here!
