We had lunch here on one of our last days in Naxos. It was delicious! The taste of the food was like eating at your grannies. We had a stew with lamb, it became one of my favorite dish. The service was charming, 2 elderly ladies cooked and served the food. Everything they cook is from their own farm, accept... More

There is not a separate review possibility for Aronis Studios so I will do my review on the taverna site. Aronis promotes itself as Aronis Taverna and Studios. The taverna is the primary family business with the studios as an add on. On arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a Nescafe frappe. We had requested a change to our... More

We were in Naxos for six days, staying in Naxos town, and we were here three of the nights. It's far away, at the end of Plaka beach, and it is exactly what I want after rolling up from the surf and the sun. There is the most beautiful view, with a kind, authentic, generous and proud hostess (someone called... More

We had a walk from the south along the beach and stopped here just as the lamb and potatoes that had been roasted for 3 hours came out so we had a little snack it was amazing meat and homemade cheese. The views were amazing as well. Not sure about the homemade wine but you can't have everything!

Nice place for lunch or dinner with a lovely view of the beach. Maria is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. If you like Greek food you will like it here.

I really wanted to love this place. The view is absolutely superb and the decor simple but immensely attractive. When I arrived I thought I'd found a little piece of heaven but that was before the food arrived...I could make all sorts of excuses - it was very close to the end of the season, maybe it was an off... It is interesting to see all of the mixed views. We both found this to be one of our favorite spots for lunch. The restaurant is family run which we liked. This is a very casual beach restaurant. The food was grown locally and the all the meals were made by the family. The moussaka I had was excellent and... More

Family run restaurant. Layout is very simple and gives out a messy vibe. We liked our food, simple and fairly tasty. We waited a bit though, but not a lot of choices in the area.

Those that want to try what typical Greece tastes like, should definitely try out Aronis. It is owned by a family that lived here for 23 years: long before this place became touristic. Food is served the way Greeks eat and have always eaten. We especially recommend what s on the bbq (chicken/lamb) which goes great with their tzatziki. All... More

Adams family? Saw VII? Take your pick. If you've in for a scare walk in this lovely greek tavern which has everything a horror movie has to offer. Cow-webs on the salt&pepper set, dirty black nails scrunging around the tables, heineous garlic breath and cheesy feet aromas beautifully accompanied our bread. Asked for the check 15 times untill we walked... More
