I hadn’t been to this pub for about 12 years, i was very impressed with the venue and bar staff, the beer was very cold and clean tasting, the menu has a large variety great meals to choose from, plenty of room for the whole...family.More
Thanks so much DanLimon! See you again soon.
We were visiting a friend in a nearby hospital and come lunchtime needed a place to eat - the choice was eat street in the local shops or the George. What a fortuitous thing, we chose the George and had a great Pub Lunch. The...Battered Barramundi, chips and salad was a good choice - it came with crispy batter, generous salad and chips to die for!! Certainly we had not expecrted a lotfrom reading previous reviews, but i can assure you this was one of the best pub lunches we have had for some time.More
Tough as boot leather steak sandwich.... could barely even cut it with a steak knife... Snitzel was small and undercooked. 🙄 And my kids had cheeseburger which they wouldn’t even eat And they eat pretty much everything!!!! Not sure what’s going on in that kitchen,...but I will Not Be coming back again. It may have been lunch time, and these were lunch specials... but you have a lot of competition.. 👋More
Went mid week just for an easy dinner. My medium steak was unfortunately grey and tough. My wife had chicken which was very dry. We have been twice before and meals were fine maybe this time we just caught them on an off night. Either...way we will try some other places.More
My family and I had dinner in the bistro on 12/11/19. Whilst the food was quite enjoyable, the location of our table was not. Do not sit at table no 3 if you want to be able to enjoy your food. All you can taste...is cigarette smoke wafting from the smoking area. Even my 4 year old grandson asked why his food tasted like smoke. Not a pleasant experienceMore
We ordered a schnitzel meal off the regular menu (not lunch menu) and paid $21 each. The below Picture is what came out. The chips and vegetables were cold and the schnitzel Had a look like it had sat on top of other schnitzels for...awhile. The corn wasn’t cooked. There was one piece of Broccolini. My partner had no vegetables or salad so his plate looked even worse. It was all thrown haphazardly on a plate. Was looking forward to a decent meal and got this instead. Be careful what you order. For a busy business I expected more than this.More
This Tavern is huge. We arrived late Saturday night, had a brilliant meal, great friendly young staff and fresh excellent quality food, had one of the best Cosmopolitans ever and we went back on the Sunday for lunch and the Monday for dinner again. We...could not stay awayMore
Invited there to share a meal with friends. Had the lamb rump with vegetables. Vegetables over cooked, the brussell sprouts were cremated. The lamb very fatty and small serve. Other veg just overcooked.
