This family run community café is open every Friday morning and offers a meeting point for locals and anyone seeking a delicious home-made treat. The menu offers savoury and sweet breakfast /brunch options, several with a Greek theme (the spinach pie is wonderful), sweet and...savoury waffles (smoked salmon and cream cheese or fresh fruit salad, Greek yogurt and Greek honey) etc. There is also a choice of home made cakes, brownies and flapjack. Locally roasted coffee beans, good tea and hot chocolates, are all sourced locally. Several of the other ingredients are also imported by the café owners Yiannis and Jill from their own Greek olive groves and local Greek honey producers. The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and the breakfasts & brunches are delicious. Highly recommended. The café runs alongside a local indoor market, offering a small selection of locally produced products such as "Greengold" olives and olive oil, local roasted coffee beans, locally grown fresh vegetables, crafts and cards, cosmetics and beauty products etc. A lovely browse whilst you build up your appetite for the waffles!More
