First time trying grilled octopus, thought it was very good, but the fried calamari was excellent. Friendly owner speaks very good English.

We had twice breakfast here when hiking in the region. The owner is very nice and open for a chat. The breakfast was very nice, I suggest to take the yoghurt with honey. A perfect start to do a great hike!!

We only called in here for drinks after completing the trek of the Samaria Gorge. It served its purpose perfectly! Cold drinks, friendly staff, great views. 1 minute, if that from the ferry so ideally located too. Cannot comment of the food, but if you need somewhere to quietly recover following your Gorge walk then this will fit the bill.

If you want to sit in between the locals...this is where you want to be. Happy staff and guests. Good lunch and fresh orange juice comes in half liters, mmm!

The greek salad was just average. The pork of the pork souvlaki we order, was very dry and hard, very likely cheap defrosted pork and for sure low quality. No need to visit this place again.

After the Samaria Gorge Hike we only had a few portions of ice-cream in the restaurant. Being tired, with my wife we sat a bit longer waiting for ferry and the owner was kind enough to bring us two big glasses of cold water. This is not happening very often.

At lunch he gave us oranges "for the beach". Today before we are leaving we will have lunch at Samaria. We will eat Rabbit Stifado. Yesterday the owner promised to make it... More

The bread for my gyros was rock hard and I couldn't bite into it. When I told him that I don't want the sandwich he told me that I have to pay for it. He brought me a new pita bread and used his dirty hand to move the ingredients to the new pita.!!! At that point I just left... More

We did the hike of samaria gorge with our 15 year old. The owner of this place was so gracious. I was searching for real coffee and they have an illy sign. We initially went in just for coffee, which was excellent, and the owner was very chatty. We asked about where we could change for a swim and he... More
